The staff that I interacted with were friendly and polite. The room was clean and comfortable, spacious enough for me and my dog. The amenities were just what I needed. The only downside of my stay was that some (many?) of the guests did not bother to clean up after their dog(s) outside in the grassy area. I found that out the hard way…😡

I stay here often, for when I work a long day at the museum and don't feel safe making the long drive home afterwards. It is conveniently located by an interstate highway (I-94) and a major Wisconsin highway (26). A number of restaurants and stores are nearby. The hotel is on top of a hill and gets little noise from the highway traffic. It seems to be well run, and have few complaints.

Yes, the staff was courteous and the room was in good condition, but the staff could not be found for 15 minutes because he had been given other assignments out of earshot and could not respond to my calls or to those of another potential guest who eventually left the grounds.
