Spacious and very clean rooms. Comfortable beds, helpful friendly staff, and AMAZING breakfast. There are greats restaurants across the street and you are also right beside a big mall that has a grocery store, pharmacy and movie theater. Many rooms have a beautiful view of the water as well. This is our got to hotel when traveling through Floripa and flying out to other countries.

We really liked this hotel for the overall quality and very pleasant and helpful staff. The location suited us very well. Our rooms (we changed room - see later) were comfortable and spacious - we had booked a Junior Suite since we were staying for some time. Normally we would have highly recommended this hotel. However, unfortunately there is a noise problem. A Rooftop bar has opened (we believe quite recently) right opposite the hotel on R. Bocaiuva. This can be extremely noisy at times (particularly weekends) with the noise continuing well after the 3:00am closing time. The hotel windows are only single glazed so sound easily penetrates. We had to ask to change from our original room on Floor 4. The hotel was helpful with this and gave us a room on Floor 9. There was still some noise but overall was hugely better. So - the hotel is great but book your room carefully.

Very bad experince!

Considering the cost of the hotel from BRL devaluated currency and the high score from the guests I was very disappointed. The rooms are clean and not bad, but windows does not have the double glass, and all noise coming from the bars in front come straight to the rooms, specially the front ones. I decided leave the hotel in my second night to sleep in another property, Majestic Horel, almost in front and much better. The service to clean the room also took so long, even spending the whole day away the service come only around 4 pm, time when I was already planned to leave. The swimming pool, front picture in the web for Hotels.com is ridiculous small. A good point is in front of a nice mall with good restaurant options and walking distance to the Hercílo Luz Bridge. I do not recomend , I am afraid where the good rates come from.

The Blue Tree Premium hotel located in Florianópolis is located 1 block from the waterfront in the downtown area. The staff are always friendly and ready to help. The breakfast is very good, even offering custom items (omelets, etc). The rooms are clean and the bed/pillows are amazing. The TV/entertainment allows for customer sign-in to streaming services so you may continue to watch your favorite programs while traveling. There are multiple restaurant options within short walking distances. The only downside to this location is an all-night club directly in front of the hotel with loud music. If possible, request a room on the other side of the hotel building. Still, I have used this location for multiple stays and highly recommend the Blue Tree.

The hotel could have been better with a few small tweaks. The pool is small and unheated, and on a cloudy day didn't feel inviting to swim in. The gym is only open at 7:00am, which is inconvenient with business travellers. I'm not sure why it couldn't be open 24 hours. There is no elevator security to the room floors and there was a pry mark near the lock on my hotel room door, which was a bit unnerving. The room was extremely clean, which was very much appreciated, but everything felt a little tired. There were two slow elevators. I was very surprised to see that they were still providing toiletries in small plastic bottles instead of wall pumps. You can't drink the tap water, but no complimentary water is provided in the room. There was a massive (>2cm) cockroach in the breakfast buffet, which made me wonder if they were in the rooms too. The breakfast options were pretty good but not great. Overall a decent stay, but I would probably research other options if I was returning to Floripa.
