Great Little cabin !

This little cabin is awesome. Great view and the set up is perfect. It has everything you need ! The rooms and kitchen are all well appointed . The hot tub is a bonus !

fantastic cabin getaway with gorgeous eastern view for sunrise

You'll love the wonderful sunrise as the back porch faces east. Wake up to a beautiful day, enjoy the grill and dinner on the covered back porch then relax the night away in the 4 person hot tub. Cell phone signal is not great but the wifi is fast and reliable. This was a truly wonderful location to stay. Be mindful that town is about an hour away so bring your food, snacks and drinks. Or just enjoy a wonderful scenic drive into town. You won't go wrong staying here.

Bear Necessities was the perfect, peaceful weekend getaway. The east-facing view from the deck is beautiful. The sunrises are spectacular, and on a clear night you can see thousands of sparkling stars. The home is stocked with everything you need, and is clean and comfy as pictured.

Awesome Stay!!

Great property! Loved the cabin, but mostly the porch area - stayed out there almost the entire time we were at the property. Saw the moon rise over the mountains, lots of wildlife and had plenty of privacy. Easy trip to Boone and West Jefferson area from cabin. Perfect for a couple, two couples or a family of four. We would definitely rent this property again!! Thank you Ms. Wendy!!!

Great Location

House is situated in a great community. The road up to the house was completely paved and wide, which is really nice, especially if there were to be snow. Hot tub worked great, could've been a little cleaner. Kitchen very well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Two loveseats in the living room offered limited seating if more than a couple of people staying. Views were great.

Bear necessities was what we needed. If a stay cay is what you need this is the spot for you. The 2 miles up the mountain , paved a plus...secluded but still not too far away. Had minor hick ups but owner was quick to respond and fix issue. Sunrises were amazing. The house is well appointed for 4 guest. Thanks for a great weekend.

Thie cabin was impressively clean. It had nice amenities and a great hot tub. A nice view and it was quiet and secluded. Even had a number of pet amenities including a doggy gate. If you are looking for peace and quiet... this cabin gives it to you.

Great private Cabin with a View

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Bear Necessities. The king bed was comfortable after a day shopping in Boone. Make sure you spend time in the jacuzzi overlooking the view of the mountains then run inside to warm by the fireplace. Thanks for experience.
