It is in the heart of downtown Fairfield, a block away from the grocery store and 5 blocks from the town square. I (the owner of this 4 apartment building) am an artist and I designed this apartment for myself. It is both wonderful and a bit eccentric. The space is entirely open. but there is a part of the loft that forms a second room that is quite private; both visually and aurally separate from the rest of the space. Most adults have to bend over to enter the space. Check out the photographs. The deck has steps down to the garden which you are free to enjoy. Residential neighborhood. The house borders on an alley that has the feeling of a country lane. Easy peasey.... Half way between the town square and the university. One block down a country lane feeling alley to the grocery store. Easiest location. Free bikes for getting around or enjoying the 17 mile bike loop around Fairfield. All revenues will go toward welcoming refugees to Fairfield. We enjoyed the artistic nature of the decorations. Perhaps I didn't read the ad clearly enough but I thought we were renting a whole house, not an apartment. The layout is a bit odd with the closet area across the room from the bed and bath area - we were a bit disoriented at first. Upstairs the converted attic is large and can sleep 5 people but you have to duck quite low to get into the space and there were no windows or skylight in that portion.
