Please read our cancellation policy before booking. Purchase insurance for any unforeseen issues. NO PETS. Nell's Cabin was built in the early 1900's with historic charm and now has modern amenities. Master bedroom has king "Sleep Number" bed with an ensuite bathroom ( tub/ shower combo). Other 2 bedrooms have a twin w/trundles. Large living room. Dining room for 6\. Another bathroom off hallway for secondary bedrooms ( Shower ). Large deck overlooking Longs Peak and the range with green space below and dining furniture for 6\. Perfect for family outing. This cabin now has a private hot tub with a view of Longs Peak. We have 4 other cabins at LR Taylor Cabins all grouped together. We are located on a hill overlooking the center of town in a quiet neighborhood. The house does have green space in front of it where the deer, elk and chipmunks like to hang out. You can walk downtown from our private steps to enjoy all the town has to offer. Rocky National Park is a short drive away. Or you can take a shuttle from a stop close by. The Beaver Meadows Visitor Center is 2.5 miles and the Fall Creek Visitor Center is 4 miles away. Come make some wonderful memories in our charming historic home. We stayed at Maybell’s cabin previously, but this was the first time we stayed at Nell’s. Our daughter’s family from Battlement Mesa, CO joined us, and it was a full house with adults and grandkids. The house is within walking distance of Bond Park which allowed Jean to sleep in while I went to work selling art. The hot tub was great after a day on your feet. Nell’s house was built in 1909 and additions have been made. The grandkids liked exploring where all the doors led. The drawer pulls, cabinet latches and “pass thru” bedrooms reminded me of the house I grew up in. If you plan to stay, bring a couple electrical adapters to make 2-prong outlets accept 3-prong devices. Otherwise, the place is up to date with contemporary conveniences. ##### Richard S. It’s an older cabin, right off the main streets in Estes, and it had everything we needed to feel safe and to have a place to relax and to be close to the city. The only concerning thing was the flooring in front bathroom and kitchen—it wasn’t level and our toddler had a rough time with it. Provided laundry was a huge bonus, the deck and the hot tub were great. We couldn’t turn on the hot tub and they came immediately to fix it. We would love to be able to stay here again. ##### Christa N. This property is great for a family that may be doing different activities. Having it so close to downtown was a perk, the views were great. The kitchen is a little rough and not very inviting, but the rest of the cabin was just what we needed. The second bathroom had a shower that was so small no one in our party could fit in it, but the master shower was fine, and we all used that. Overall great time and experience. ##### Cari W.
