The quiet neighborhood was relaxing for our vacation, and sitting on the deck for an afternoon read, and an evening cocktail was wonderful. Aug 14, 2024 #### Perfect Beach House in Encinitas This was our first time staying in Encinitas and we were so happy we chose to stay at the Sunset Suite property. The house is beautifully decorated. It was the ideal layout, setup, and amenities for our stay with our two teenage daughters. The house is a quick walk to the D Street beach entrance, plus a short walk to lots of awesome food options. We had planned to venture out of town to San Diego and other beaches, but we ended up spending all of our time in Encinitas (and Cardiff) because we loved everything close to the house. We usually travel to new places for family trips, but everyone loved this stay so much that we're planning to come back next summer for a repeat of this awesome stay. My daughter left some clothes in the bathroom and we got a message quickly from the team saying that we could go retrieve the items or offered to mail them to us. Just a few feet to the ocean overlook, and short walk to the restaurants and shops of Old Encinitas. Everything was amazing and we wanted for nothing. I the property managers were wonderful. The townhome was so clean and wonderfully decorated. Apr 29, 2025 #### Absolutely perfect stay When we walked in, we all were so impressed with how spacious, bright, and comfortable the unit is. Comfy sofas, big dining room table, perfect size kitchen with a view. There's a bin of all your beach needs, Turkish beach towels, and a porch swing to ease away your stresses. The beds were comfortable, and the shower had good pressure. Walls and floor are a little 'thin', so keep that in mind if you have little ones. Parking is provided for two regular size vehicles or one large SUV/truck, but plenty of street parking if you need it too. It's also a 45 second walk to a beautiful lookout point, a lovely 3 to 7 minute walk to awesome coffee shops, shopping, and restaurants, and a 12 minute walk to a public beach. Evening strolls are recommended too. BeachHaus had great, prompt communication and little, unassuming reminders around the space. We'll definitely be back.
