Situated on a stunning 300 acre property of farm land and hiking trails, you’ll enjoy unlimited outdoor potential. As you turn into the drive, you’ll follow a mile-long, private road winding around the property giving you an excellent tour of it’s substantial acreage. You’ll see the river house off in the distance as you round the final corner. Upon arrival, you’ll enter the home through the fully-furnished, screened-in porch; the perfect place to enjoy a cool, mosquito-free evening on the river. After passing through the porch, you’ll enter the home’s main living area. The open plan invites beams of natural light inside through an expansive wall of windows. The first floor offers a guest bedroom with two queen beds and a primary bedroom with a king bed. A dining area accommodates seating for 10, while the kitchen counter has seating for an additional 2 offering plenty of space for gathering and entertaining your whole group. The living room features a gorgeous fireplace and a flat-screen television making it the ideal spot for watching the game or reading a book. The recently updated kitchen with new stainless steel appliances makes preparing meals as a family enjoyable. The laundry room and pantry with complete guest access has all the extra storage and closet space you’ll need. Upstairs you’ll find two guest bedrooms, one with a king bed, the other with two full beds and a shared bathroom with shower/tub combo. All bedrooms are well-appointed and traditionally furnished, with private patio access and stunning views from primary bedroom. The bathrooms are smaller in size but fixtures have been recently updated. Bathroom toiletries included are high-quality Aveda brand shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The biggest selling point is the first floor walkout patio that is home to the 5-person spa. The patio extends the entire length of the river house with bench seating throughout. It’s the ideal location for a private yoga class, cocktails, or a sunrise cup of coffee. From here, you’ll experience the most breathtaking panoramic views of the Ohio. We had plenty of space for us all. The house and property is beautiful. The weather wasn't the best for us, we wished we could have used the outside a little more. Communication with the owner was wonderful. We had a couple things pop up, but the owners were on top of handling things over and above our liking. This place was perfect! From the beautiful deck with the hot tub and adirondack chairs that overlooks the river, to the screened in porch, comfy living space with fantastic views to the oh so comfy beds this was everything we had hoped for and more!! We made one trip to Walmart and that was a bit of a drive, but we made sure to get everything we needed in the one trip. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. We cooked most meals at the house, but did visit the E-town River Restaurant for lunch and Shotgun Eddy's for dinner one evening. Shotgun Eddy's was a bit of a drive but worth it. We visited Cave In Rock which was a short drive and had beautiful views. We had a wonderful stay and loved the house!! Thank you for hosting us. ##### Misty R. It had everything we could have asked for! A couple days before we left, the owner texted me the pin to the exact location of the house because Google maps will only take you to the driveway and it's a bit of a drive after that (nothing too serious, just a couple twists and turns). It was in a great location that wasn't terribly far from anything we wanted to do. The hot tub was great and a wonderful place to watch the sunrise and sunset. The kitchen was stocked with things that other places I have stayed didn't think of, such as ziploc bags, cooking oil, etc. I did communicate with Jill (host) because I could not figure out how to operate the fan in the master bedroom. She was more than willing to have a maintenance person come out the next day to look at it but I told her not to worry about it. I also had to communicate as we got a pretty nasty storm that had done a little damage to the home (nothing major, just some screens and siding) and she always responded immediately and was very gracious in her responses. My son really enjoyed staying in the area of the house that I believe was an addition because he felt like he had his own apartment with a bedroom, bathroom, and his own entrance! It was our first trip with everyone. The house was perfect - plenty of room for the 11 of us comfortably and was kept up nicely. We were a group of friends, we really enjoyed our stay, the place is very isolated, no houses around. Jill was great with communication before and during our stay, we used the hut tub every night, weather was great in June and we were surprised that there were no mosquitoes.
