Great breakfast, amazing wine cellar

Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. All the little extras (champagne at reception, teddy bear on pillow, bottle of wine, gift bag of chocolates) were greatly welcomed. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent place, location and staff

Luxurious hotel, handsome and comfortable room -- but top-floor room had a diagonal beam near the bed on which I kept bumping my head. I would also have preferred a bathtub to the shower provided. Excellent service in the hotel. The breakfast was also luxurious and enjoyable, but service there was mediocre. I had to ask for coffee, for instance, and when it was brought 10 minutes later it was lukewarm. Nobody offered to take my order for the egg dishes advertised on the table-top menu. The...

Great location, very large specious clean room with nice view to the city. Friendly helpful stuff. Delicious breakfast. All facilities are great. The building and the rooms are in great shape. Overall great experience. Probably the best hotel in Germany in our tour. Well worth the money.

Nice place to stay quiet area but nice

Helpful staff, clean and nice apartments. There's air con plus insuite washer/dryer in the kitchenette. Pool and sauna were great. They offer breakfast but we went out as the main platz and surrounding area is easily walkable with tons of options. Coffee Fellows across the street has great actual coffee not like the cafes with the automatic machines. Highly recommend

We were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable this hotel was. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed that I have slept in during this trip! The hotel staff were friendly and although we did not speak German and they did not speak English, we managed to communicate. There was a locked bike cage in the garage which we appreciated. By bike it was a quick cycle into the centre of town where we found a bakery, grocery store and a lovely park.

Charming historical building run by an Evangelical Order. It is across from Albertinum, steps away from Brühlsche Terrasse, and a few minutes' walk from the Zwinger Art Gallery and the Opera House. The hotel has a nice terrace and a kitchenette with a refrigerator, plates, and cutlery, and it offers coffee and tea. The room is basic and has an en-suite bathroom. The receptionist/hotel manager, Frau Donner, is very helpful. Very reasonably priced.

Great hotel in a good location. Would recommend!!

We loved the hotel ambience, cleanliness, very helpful staff and beautiful room. The only negative was the nightly noise from the Amaro Bar behind the hotel. Every night from about 12 midnight to 3 am we were woken and kept awake by very loud talking from the Amaro. We shut the window but unfortunately the noise was still quite loud. I would recommend to all guests that they avoid rooms facing the bar. I would suggest that you see if you can stop this noise as I’m sure many other guests were...
