We found the staff very friendly, our room was clean, and quiet, with heated floors. There is a lot by this motel, it is on St Albert Trail. We will be staying there again.

The Horizon Motel is dated but extremely clean and the lady who checked us in was friendly and efficient. It is an older building but everything was spotless and clean, which is why my sons and I stayed here again this year when we were in St. Albert. It is right on St. Albert Trail and close to shopping, restaurants, gas stations, and churches. We shall return again!

A good inexpensive spot to stay overnight!

Ery clean room and pleasant, friendly staff. Motel is older and not a beautiful area lace but the price is great, room was clean. I found the bed too soft but that’s me. Everything worked and check-in was fast and staff efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Place was very quiet even though it is right on St. Albert Trail (Hwy2) and our room faced the highway!

Nice little motel

Somehow my reservation, through Hotels, didnt make it to their computer. However, i had a great room tucked into a corner, recessed area. It was very quiet and private.

The Motel is an old establishment and from the outside looks very old and outdated. I can only vouch for the room (# 1 ) that we stayed in for 3 nights. If you are looking for a place to sleep and shower this works.The room was very clean, no carpets, fresh bedding and the staff are friendly. Just a note there is no coffee in room or ice machines. There is a restaurant next door. I meet the manager and thanked her for the clean room. I would rate it 3 1/2 Stars based on location and age of the Motel.

-The staff were exceptional. The motel itself is somewhat run down, but you get what you pay for. As I was only staying to sleep for one night, it was okay. -The room was incredibly hot, in spite of the outside temperature (4), as the AC wasn't accessible or didn't work. Otherwise, the stay was fine, and the staff were exceptional. They more than made up for any building issues. -Given similar circumstances, I would stay again. (7/10)

Budget wise motel

Along the lines of you "get what you pay for", I got what I paid for, in that it was the least cost accomodation in the area and therefore my expectatioons were not high. The basic room was just that, a place to sleep for the night, with a good tv. It may not have been great, but it was not bad either and I compliment the staff for being friendly and for fullfilling my requests, while commending them on presenting a clean room, in fact cleaner than some 4 star hotels I have stayed at. The staff do their best with what they have. If you want to keep your costs even lower, utilize the provided fridge and microwave, which were sterile clean, as was the bathroom and even the tv remote control!

It's a motel. Pictures showing on Expedia present this place better than it is. Staff was helpful to let me cancel my reservation as actual condition of this place doesn't match with pictures. I did not feel safe to stay there as soon as I drive into the parking lot. It probably works for someone but not for me.
