We were upgraded to a King room that included fridge and microwave. Ample parking is at the front with small stalls. The location is great for the north end of Edmonton. Staff were very friendly and attentive. a good bargain.

PROS: Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was exceptionally clean (kudos to housekeeping), comfortable beds, fridge and microwave included. Location is ideal for the Kingsway Mall and is within 5 mins drive lot of common frequented places like McDonald's, Canadian Tire, Walmart, Tim Hortons etc... CONS: Hotel condition is poor and needs a major renovation. Gym has little equipment and is damaged.

We arrived late from the via train (4am and heavily delayed). The hotel accommodated us and were so helpful. We wanted to extend our stay and the hotel facilitated this with no problems whatsoever. Front desk staff were amazing. Sometimes vagrants wander into the hotel but the security is usually on the ball and sort the issue out. I would recommend this hotel.

The room we got was double the size of the standard. Ok cleanliness. Fans in the rooms were not too loud at night. There is no AC, do if the room gets hot it's hard to cool with the windows wide open. Beds were firm, pillows were soft. The carpet was bump at different parts of the Inn. No pool. It's an old Inn but still an average Inn. Close to Grout Road so easy to get to downtown or to get to U of A. There is addition fees to stay so watch for those.

Main lobby is stunning, rooms not so much. We had a 2 room suite. Walked into our room, both heaters were cranked to 30°! We contacted front desk, but they just instructed us to turn the heaters down. No air conditioning (April so we didn’t need it). However both windows wide open all night and the room finally cooled to 20° by 11pm. Property location is good and easy to navigate. Be prepared for walking as the property is quite large or request a close room if needed for health reasons.
