We were lucky enough to see the Aurora Borealis one night...hopefully picture below is visible Very nicely appointed home, very clean, roomy, comfortable beds, parking and getting in/out a breeze. Kitchen had everything you might need to cook, make coffee, etc.. Communication with owners clear and easy but we had absolutely no issues. Our first time in Eastport and we loved it. Great people and just enough to do while really getting to unwind. The owners are truly amazing even offering me an extra night to avoid the pending snowstorm on Christmas Eve. Our family of 4 stayed 4 nights in early March, and it was so fun to experience Eastport in the off-season. The home is absolutely gorgeous!! The decorating is fabulous, but it is also warm and welcoming - we truly felt at home there. We appreciated all the sitting areas available for reading, watching television or studying, and it was wonderful to have a washer/dryer, Keurig coffee maker, and especially a fridge with an ice maker/water dispenser! It's a very short walk from the house to downtown and the harbor, so you can walk to the local restaurants, shops and charming public library in no time. The grocery store and Shackford Head State Park are just a short drive away. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. This house has it all. Even better than the pictures indicated. Everything inside was accessible, clean & functional. Very walkable to the business district by clientele in their mid-70s. Parking easy to access and roomy.
