Our1/2 acre property features a lush, grassy fenced in back yard, big outdoor shower, firepit with Adirondack style chairs, sunny deck, hammock, and a pretty and private space to complete your relaxing Cape vacation. Stepping back inside, our post and beam construction shows off a 20 foot vaulted ceiling in the living area with skylights to round out the classic, updated charm of your guest house. You're one easy mile to Campground or Thumpertown beaches on the Bay, featuring miles of white sand flats at low tide and warm Bay waters. Or, 2 miles to ocean waves at Nauset Light and Coast Guard beaches. This heavenly part of the Cape has so much to offer. At a moment's notice you can drive out to the Bay or the Ocean, or both, and decide where to plant your blanket for the day. Cooking in? Our full-sized kitchen and appliances also feature essential and extra spices and supplies, plus all the cookware you may need and a Bosch dishwasher to make clean-up hassle free. All in a quiet family neighborhood, where you can walk and bike in the street with not a car in sight. Gather around the firepit for lazy summer evenings with cool beverages and maybe some oysters, lobsters or steaks. We arrived on a hot and humid day, and immediately appreciated the four A/C units on two floors. We didn't use the basement except to do laundry, yet it would really be a bonus if there's a family with kids for that all-important "second hangout space."Outside, as you'll see in our photos, there is ample room for introverted time (important for our family) and we made use of the large lawn and deck to read and nap. We enjoyed multiple meals at the patio table, and used the grill. It also helped that the weather was perfect and being outside was so pleasant, not really buggy.Since our family loves to cook together, yet rental places can vary from what is promised in the profile, we tend to travel with pantry ingredients, knives and cookware. This time, I did not even unwrap my own knives, and we used many of the Yonchak's utensils, cookware, and spices!On the immediate block, several of us had morning runs or walks most days and the quiet streets definitely lend themselves for exercise routines. For those considering this location, know that there is not much town center in Eastham for tourists; we did not mind since the access to BEACHES (we went to seven) was perfect. For our "town mood" times, we simply drove 10-25 minutes to Orleans and Provincetown.Dana gave prompt responses before, during, and after our stay - it's so appreciated! We cannot say enough about this property! Not Only was the house perfect and exactly what We needed, the outside space was amazing! It was a great location...close to several beaches My kids loved the backyard...especially the hammock. The outdoor showers was great too when we came from the beach. The owners were very helpful and responsive to everything. They even asked if we needed help with restaurants and entertainment. The house was well stocked with basic needs (soap, TP, PT, dishes, & spices) We definitely will be staying there again! ##### Errion M. House is on a quiet street, a mile from campground beach, easy bike ride to rail trail, convenient to coast guard and nauset beaches. House is very comfortable with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a great outside shower, nice wraparound side back deck and a firepit for those cool Cape evenings. Kitchen had everything we needed. This house on a very quiet street was perfect for our party of 2 couples. The house was spotlessly clean, and was exactly as described. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well -stocked and easy to prepare food in. The living area and outside deck (where we spent most of our time!) were very nice as well.
