The home was beautiful, clean and the lake was private and quiet. Check out is noon so we were able to enjoy the amenities. We loved the use if their huge deck for sunbathing , kayaks and lily pad. Their breakfast of muffin quiche, baked goods, and other snacks was amazing. The hosts were fun and upbeat. Our room was Great. We met the owners briefly. Never saw one of them again. The driveway to the building needs work. Pot holes all over. It was very expnsive for 1 night. They are very relaxed hosts which made the atmosphere pretty "chill". Their place is truly a beautiful northwoods getaway. The Lake is a small "no motor" lake, which made it very relaxing. We had a room on the lower level and shared a full bathroom with another couple. Absolutely gorgeous! Hosts were awesome, came out and lit the campfire for us. Premium liquors/ drinks on a small lake with 0 boat traffic, electric trolling motors only so quiet and serene!! Only thing id have to say that if mobilty is an issue not a good fit, 59 stairs down to the dock. The woodwork around the entire house is beautiful. However, it definitely needs some maintenance. The couple that runs it seemed very nice. Until we woke up to what sounded like fighting at 3 am and again at 8\. Not exactly the romantic experience we had in mind. The jacuzzi tub in our room had a large amount of hair in it and there was a coat of dust on most surfaces.
