Very clean and comfortable. Due to the weather, we weren't able to use any of the outdoor amenities. There was an issue with the charges, which was mostly cleared up. There are apparently local taxes that Expedia doesn't know about. For the price, breakfast should be included!

Great and clean room and very helpful staff! Just some unsanitary trash left near the entrance to the facility. Otherwise, a great stay.

6/10 Okay

Hotel was in a great location. Very walkable. Didn’t like the fact that they charged for parking and then told you breakfast in restaurant was $10.00. The hotel restaurant was badly run. It put a real stain on hotel. Needless to say I will not stay there again. Room was average at best, not enough to give it a 4 star.

I want to start by saying all the staff I came in contact with were great & the whole property seemed very clean. Though there were a few frustrating hiccups at check in - our room cards needed to be reprogrammed twice before they worked, a broken toilet (quickly fixed) & the TV remote worked intermittently (needed new batteries?), it was the surprise $10/day charge for parking that was the most disappointing. I didn’t know about the charge till I was checking in on Friday afternoon. When I mentioned my surprise, I was told they updated their website with the additional fee but that it was the 3rd parties’ (Expedia in my case) responsibility to update on their end. Upon checkout on Sunday morning (staying 2 nights) I was charged $30 for parking. Technically, I guess I parked on their property for 3 days…After some online research, I confirmed most hotels in Durango offer free self-parking. Next time I stay in Durango, I’ll do my proper research & stay at one of those hotels.

The room was large and had what we needed ! We stayed a total of 6 days on our 2 week trip! 3 when we arrived and 3 before we flew home! Liked being on 4th floor in room 400! Very quiet and we had coffee maker and fridge which was great! Don’t require maid service!

We enjoyed staying at this property twice! Large room with fridge and really everything we needed! We stayed total of 5 days at beginning of trip and at the end! We would never use Expedia again after they did some nefarious things trying to protect themselves from a 172 mistake ! Very dishearten by them! But Holiday Inn Dowtown Durango was perfect for us!

Everything was great, clean room, bathroom clean enough towels, beds comfy BUT the ONLY thing that I didn’t like was the BREAKFAST it was very simple, and there was very little of it; plus, if you asked the young women for anything, they ignored you and seemed angry.
