Hotel was unique in that its sits into a hillside off by itself. Its a nice stay but a big negative was that the elevator was not working so had to go up 3 flights of stairs with luggage. The hotel staff were all very friendly.
Great location if you’re in Dover prior to a cruise. Very centrally located with easy walks to food, Dover Castle, the White Cliffs hiking area, and P&O Ferries for a quick day trip to Spain. It does not have AC, but does provide fans that do cool the room a bit. Additionally, the windows are left open to help cool the room so the location of your room may impact the road noise you hear during the day. There is also an attached restaurant, which is quite delicious for food and drinks, and offers considerably reduced prices on certain menu offerings before 6pm.
Very clean and neat. Rooms are excellent, except no A/C, just fans. As we were there when it was warmer, this proved to be the only drawback. Attached restaurant is excellent. Reasonably close to Cruise Terminal. Very good view of white cliffs of Dover. Not to far away from the Dover Castle. If necc, use a taxi. Uber service is poor in Dover.

The view of the bins out the window wasn't very attractive, the rubbish trucks were pretty noisy too
Dover was in the midst of a heatwave and room wasn’t air conditioned. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Great location for the cruise terminal, sightseeing and transportation.

Hotel ist günstig, relativ sauber und vor allem nah an der Fähre.
Will never stay here again. No air conditioning so went to bed and tried to sleep sweating all night. Small fan to blow the hot air around. Cord would not reach to place the fan by the window (it was cooler outside) and no extension cords available so we had to go buy one. Breakfast was only a full buffet and the food was disgusting. Scrambled eggs that had full eggs cooked in them so not really scrambled eggs. Food area was not very clean. Restaurant was very dated and needed a refresh. Staff was uninterested. Booked a room for four but had only one double and a cot so had to get another cot.
Perfect location right beside the water with a beautiful breeze coming off the water. Good breakfast and convient location for our cruise the next day. Well done room and bathroom, recently updated.
Clean and updated. No AC but fan provided in room was sufficient as it cools down at night. Staff was very helpful with storing luggage, giving recommendations/ directions. Paid English breakfast along with continental options was good. Easy walk to Dover Castle or into town for dining/ shopping or the bus to Canterbury. 25/30 minute walk from the train station. 40 minute walk to the cruise terminal.
While it is probably the hottest summer on record in Britain, and they are not used to that, it would have been nice if they had air conditioning. Still, they provide powerful oscillating fans in our rooms, so it wasn't too bad.
The winning points for this hotel are helpful staff and a pleasant location by the water. The room was extremely hot and stuffy, no air conditioning and a window that is blocked from opening fully. It was hot and stuffy at all hours of the day and night while it was a tolerable 26 degrees outside.
Breakfast was ok though nothing classy. Good value of 10.99 for a full breakfast per adult and free for a kid with a paying adult.
Dinner was expensive but poor quality. Very busy and noisy and long waiting times for everything - dinner, desert, and check.
On the positive side, 20 minutes to Dover Castle and White Cliffs, 3 minutes to the bus stop with the bus that takes you to the train station, and about 8-10 minutes to grocery stores and restaurants. For those who like running, excellent running opportunities along the harbour and an outdoor gym in the nearby green space.
The hotel is well maintained and the staff was very helpful. No A/C but we were provided a fan for each room which helped at night. We highly recommend visiting Dover and staying at Premier Inn. Great first impression for our trip to Europe.
Gedateerd hotel met weinig voorzieningen. Opzich prima voor een kort verblijf als je de volgende ochtend vroeg met de ferry moet. Verwacht niet te veel.
Needs a lot of work on everything, customer service, house keeping and everything.
It’s very reduced service and feels cheap.
Soap in bathroom is low quality, noise was crazy, breakfast is expensive.. restaurant attached to the hotel is ok.. nothing special look for better food and service. Overall stay somewhere else… wouldn’t recommend or stay again..
