"I recently returned to Tambua Sands Resort earlier this month, my second visit, the first being 20 years ago and it was just as magical as I remembered. The resort is small and intimate, with just 21 bures, giving it a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. I stayed in an ocean view bure, which was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. As a solo female traveller, I felt 100% safe at all times, both in the resort and exploring the surrounding area. The resort has a genuine “real Fiji” feel, with all local staff who make you feel like part of the family from the moment you arrive. Every team member introduces themselves and remembers your name, you’re never just a guest or a number here. The food at the resort was very good, and for something special, I highly recommend taking a taxi to the Crab Shack for dinner, it’s very reasonably priced with amazing food and a great atmosphere. What really makes Tambua Sands stand out is the people. I couldn’t possibly single out one staff member, from the front-of-house team, kitchen and bar staff, gardeners, activities and tour guides, to the security team and the amazing cleaning staff. Every single person worked together to create a truly welcoming and memorable stay. If you’re looking for a small, authentic, and warm Fijian experience, Tambua Sands is the perfect choice. I will definitely return again. "

"Absolutely fantastic value for money. Lovely resort that’s great for families or couples. Not over crowded. Fantastic snorkeling and reef walks. If you are after the true Fijian experience without needing all the luxury amenities….you have come here to experience the Fiji islands after all…this is paradise. "Accommodation was excellent and reception staff we also excellent. Few staff in the Dining area were not very friendly. Also the bathroom shower may need to be looked at as the water from the shower head was going everywhere. "

The housekeeping staff truly stood out — they were incredibly accommodating and made sure our rooms were clean and comfortable. When we arrived, the room meant for my kids had only one bed instead of two. I brought it up to the staff, and they handled it immediately without any hesitation — quick and efficient! What really made the stay extra special was that the hotel surprised me by decorating the room for my birthday. "I almost don’t want to write a review because I want this hidden gem to remain a secret. The resort was amazing. Gourmet meals every day, world class surfing and diving, and yoga. We met other guests and they became like family. The resort employees remember your name. Tim the surf guide was extremely hospitable. Extremely knowledgeable and an amazing surfer. My family and I have been fortunate to travel to many places but this will be by far the most memorable experience. Thank you Waidroka!"

"Fantastic holiday l totally reccommend the Naviti Resort, the hospitality is outstanding such lovely staff, great Accomodation and food my coeliac daughter had plenty of options even with the buffet and they offered a gluten free menu. The all inclusive package is well worth it. "
