![This was an epic sunset!

We are back in rural France, in the middle of nowhere, and at the lakes where I spent most of my summer holidays as a kid.

This was my grand-parents' property and my parents look after the place nowadays.  I do not get to go there more than once a year, but it always fills me with amazing memories every time I get the opportunity to visit.

PS - you can see my dad fishing in the centre in the frame.
PSS - talking about fishing, we have big carps (like 20+ Kg!) in the lake and we have mostly people from the UK and Netherlands pay to come angling (no kill).  They either camp on the site, or rent the small chalet we have there. "Our party of 16 had a really wonderful time staying in this farmhouse. The house and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful and full of charm. The house was brilliantly equipped and we were able to enjoy doing lots of cooking. The pool and outdoor area were so great that we didn’t want to leave the house much and spent most of the stay having pool days and playing games in the grounds. We will be back!"

"The hotel really exceeded my expectations. The staff were very helpful, spoke great English and made our stay very easy. Comfy beds, great pillows and a very clean spacious room! The onsite parking was really useful. Despite being right next to the train station it was quiet enough to sleep with the window open. Perfect for our needs."
