"What a great discovery Ohrid and Villa Maki are, we really enjoyed our first ever trip to North Macedonia. The villa is lovely, has a great location near to the lake front, Old Town, harbour etc, but manages to be really quiet and peaceful. The owners, Renata & Maki, are so friendly and helpful."

"The apartment I stayed in was so spacious and comfortable. The building looks brand new and it’s tastefully decorated. Two blocks away from the old bazaar and the main road. Grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Everything you need is within walking distance. The host is so kind, helpful and courteous. I highly recommend this property! I will definitely stay here again."

"Check in was good with helpful service. Hotel is in a great location and from outside looked good, even with indoor smoking (the norm in Macedonia). The view on to the lake is first rate and we had a corner suite. However the room was tired and needing significant work. Shower that spat water, kitchen with cracked bench and exposed wires. Common areas of hotel were filthy and . Overall a bit disappointing "

"mooi gelegen, supervriendelijke medewerkers, vooral achter de receptie. Enige aandachtspunt is dat het handig zou zijn als de douche wat meer afgesloten zou zijn, zodat niet de halve badkamer kletsnat wordt. De douche is wel heel erg fijn overigens!"
