The staff were so attentive and kind, the room is spacious and we loved the special touch of breakfast being brought directly to us in a picnic basket every morning (at a time we’re asked to choose)! "We were disappointed to see huge discrepancy between the photos posted on Expedia and the actual look of the hotel and the room. There was no reception for 30 minutes, then we wanted to see our room. We were shocked to see such old beds and bathrooms which did not match at all to the pictures we saw online. We immediately declined to stay and we were not allowed to cancel and get a refund. I suggest Expedia to do more fact check about the true nature of the hotels posted on their website. We...

"What a delightful hotel, nestled in the hills high above Ijevan, and close to mountain trails. We received a warm welcome and made to feel at home. A highlight was to try some local wines before dinner each day, sitting on the terrace looking across the valley. There was an extensive menu with many delicious dishes, freshly prepared for us. We enjoyed meeting our host Ani who speaks excellent English. She and Movses went above the call of duty give us a wonderful experience at Kanach Tun."
