"Kostenloser Parkplatz und Sauberkeit sind positiv hervorzuheben. Der Ort bietet so gut eie nichts. Wir waren im Nebengebäude untergebracht. Man kommt sich abgeschoben vor, weil es Personal und Frühstück nur im Haupthaus auf der anderen Straßenseite gibt. Das Zimmer war sehr dunkel (dunkle Einrichtung, kleines Fenster, unzureichendes Lampenlicht). Abendessen gibt es erst ab 20.00 Uhr. "

"We stayed for 2 weeks in one of the apartments for 2. The studio had everything you needed with a good sized comfy bed. The kitchen ( we had the studio with the separate kitchen) had a good size fridge . The pool area was lovely and our little terrace had lovely views down to the villiage...we would definitely return if in the area again but stay in one of the larger houses that are detached"

"Hemos estado este puente de noviembre, la casa estupenda, muy bien equipada con muchos detalles, una terraza con grandes vistas, por la noche era un lujo salir y deleitarse con una cúpula llena de estrellas. Fenomenal enclave para ver Cáceres, Trujillo, Guadalupe. Los dueños encantadores, pendientes en todo momento de nosotros. "Love the paradores! Really enjoyed the pool and we had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant. Staff is very friendly and love the ambiance of the property. "

Hotel 4* Parque de Monfragüe

"Lovely location and ideal for stopping off for the Monfrague National Park with lovely views. The room was great and clean. Perhaps it was too early in the season but the general areas outside could do with sprucing up. The food in the evening was fantastic. The breakfast was okay but not to the same standard. A shame the pool is out of action. "

"This is the second time I have stayed here, great deal. It is less than a minute from the monastery/main plaza of Guadalupe. Rooms are basic but not cramped, and amenities include fluffy towels, mini fridge, iron and ironing board, wall table perfect for laptop typing, hair dryer, soap etc, and both times I have had good views: town and mountains last June, and this time the monastery. I would certainly stay here again in the future."
