« The cottage was really cute and clean. Plenty of towels. My daughter kept in touch with the staff for me. It did have a fireplace which was not needed for our stay but fall hit soon after we left. There was not a kitchen but did have a mini fridge and microwave. We spent time at Fort Davis National Historic Site, Balmorhea State Park, actually saw the Marfa lights, and the McDonald Observatory. Definitely recommend! »

« Stopped in for a quick overnight stay while picking up our youngest at Prude Ranch summer camp. The little house was super clean, very comfortable and well appointed. Comfortable bed and linens, great tv, kitchenette and bathroom. Quiet, simple luxury in lovely Fort Davis, and very affordable in comparison to hotel rooms in the area. « The house is so comfortable. An abundance of nice towels in both bathrooms. So important to me. The Greek soaking tub was a hit with the grandchildren. Me, too! Such gorgeous views. So peaceful. We saw deer, quail (a pair) and a coyote walking through the tall grass. So convenient to the McDonald Observatory and Mt Davis State Park for hiking and lunch at the Black Bear at the Indian Lodge. We had a wonderful time. »
