« There was nothing unique about the hotel, but it more than met our needs. Very clean grounds, building and room (quiet, too). Friendly and helpful staff at arrival, departure and in the breakfast area. All in all, we were very pleased with our stay there. »

« We loved the idea of an abandoned school being converted for multiple uses. Being educators it was fun staying in a school. Very close to beautiful hiking trails. Enjoyed our stay immensely! »

« Excellent overall. Walking distance to the college and Lew Wallace study. Lots of history on the property alone to explore. Street parking only. My only complaint is that the windows are single pane glass and allow in a fair amount of ambient nose. »

« An excellent choice for a getaway with family. The outdoor amenities were exceptional, from the fire pit to the pool and spas, seating areas, and relaxing in nature. The location was perfect for easy access to beautiful Shades State Park. The kitchen was small for 10 people but adequately stocked. The gaucho grille was not appropriate for our needs: difficult to manage the heat and the grille surface does not work for burgers, etc. A conventional gas, propane, or charcoal grill would provide...

« All went well with our stay. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Lots of animals on the property, adding to the experience. Good country location about a 15 minute drive from the Lafayette or Attica IN area. Dog friendly is a bonus. »

« Loved this farm house! It was super tidy, easy to find and beautiful all around. We enjoyed the property as well- a total birding adventure! Never missed a sunset on the porch and from the kitchen. Close enough to Purdue University for our graduation stay, but far enough away from the bustle. Charming town! »
