We were assigned a room at the back of the property, and parking was somewhat difficult when parking closer to the room. « Luxurious, clean, well appointed room and amenities. Staff are welcoming and helpful. The self served breakfast is a great start to the day. The complimentary sweet treats to have with your tea or coffee and/or a port in the evening were a nice touch. »

« Basic house with no Wifi. Lacking in a few essential home comforts such as dishwasher or hair dryer, bread knife and games. TV was old and reception poor. Backyard is big with sun in the afternoon but not a welcoming place to sit around. Mattresses were old. Fridge unplugged when we arrived. We appreciated the washing machine and the heat pump. The location is great, nice places to visit. With a few small improvements this could be a great holiday house. »

« Lovely secluded get away with a fire place. Be prepared to put your Scout talents to use as they don't provide fire lighters, just newspaper! It took hours to warm the place up.
