« Honestly, I was here for the reasonable rate. My expectations were low. BUT- if I were near Grayling again, I would go out of my way to stay here. Spotlessly clean, plenty of towels, soft sheets, QUIET! Beautifully renovated but still feels like a vintage time capsule 1940s motor court. »

« Well if you're looking for a bed I'm a shed a mile and a half in the woods down two track trails. Although you can get through with 2 wheel drive I recommend 4 wheel drive truck as the two was in are both like riding a monster truck rally. And also note bring a generator no power or running water on the property Totally rustic camping. Oh and also bring pillows and linens as those are not provided. « For a little cabin it was spacious inside. Low ceilings and a teeny shower so not for bigger than average folks but the privacy and yard space in the back was worth it. Communication was spotty with the host but maybe that was due to no Wifi? Great space for dogs. »

« It was a nice, cozy cottage / cabin in the woods. It had everything you need and it was clean. Quiet and peaceful. We seen deer, a jack rabbit and chipmunks running around in the back chasing each other and collecting acorns. Made some s'mores at the fire at night. Plenty of wood. South Higgins Lake State Park is 5 minutes away and so is Marl Lake State hiking trail. The owner / host was very nice. My wife and kids enjoyed this place. We will be back next year. »

« Great small campground, very quiet and secluded. The host helped us quickly when we had a few issues with the camper. The camper is very clean. Don't forget to bring your own linens for the twin beds if you have littles. The campground shower/facilities were great compared to state parks we've stayed at in the past.The camper has very minimal pots/pans/ utensils but we made it work. Overall we loved the area and the days we spent exploring the area! »

« Checked in to a fly/bug infested bathroom and a dirty tub. RV is older and shows some signs of wear/mildew but overall was adequate. Owner was quick to come out and fix the bug problem and was responsive to any needs that arose but let’s not over sell this place as it’s basically a run down RV on a back lot property next to a storage shed? »

« There was o my 1 accessible beach that we were told we can use by host mother. We got kicked out saying we had to be a vet to use the beach by a rude man »
