« We had a really disappointing experience with Powhatan Motel. After driving 16 hours on a long road trip, we arrived around 3am expecting to check in, since the motel clearly advertises a 24-hour front desk and check-in availability after 4pm. « The Bait Shop Cabin was perfect for our weekend anniversary trip! Luxurious touches like 2 fireplaces, a rain head shower/steamer, and an extremely comfortable king-size bed left us feeling pampered in this cozy cabin. « We rented the Nest too. We had 8 people there and 11 at the Aerie. Each couple was able to have their own space this way. Adults didn't have to give up their privacy. At the Aerie, the living space, kitchen and rec room were spacious. We were fortunate to have perfect weather so we were outside all day and into the night. The outdoor space was fabulous for outdoor eating and "playing". We all give this venue A thumbs up! »

« My friends and I were blown away by this property. Large space, plenty of bedrooms and beds. I went with a group of 12 adults & nobody needed to share a bed. The beach is well-maintained and secluded, lots of privacy. Plenty of activities indoor & outdoor, this is a great place for a family trip, or an adult-only trip.
