"Host was great and pool was wonderful. House was comfortable and in a great neiborhood. Plenty of dishes and cooking items for us."

"Our host Jason went out of his way to ensure we had a good stay at his place. We had support in getting to use a local pool, with groceries and transportation to our next location to mention a few. If you need local insights and super hospitality then go with Jason. The location is in a quiet local neighbourhood and it feels safe to have kids running around outside. Walking to the beach is possible, but can be a bit hard for little ones up to 4 years old (especially considering the heat). Go to...

"I had such a lovely stay at this cute little studio in Puerto Carrillo. The space was cozy, clean, and had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. The real highlight was the shared pool—perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach or just lounging with a book. The neighborhood felt safe and peaceful, and it was just a short drive to Playa Carrillo, which is absolutely stunning. If you're looking for a quiet, charming spot to unwind, this is it!"

"We had an incredible stay! Ana, the in-house chef, was absolutely fantastic—her meals were delicious and her local recommendations made our trip even better. The property itself was spectacular, beautifully maintained, and perfect for relaxing. The views were absolutely stunning, and the sunsets were unforgettable. The surfing in the area is excellent, and the home is truly great for all ages. We would highly recommend this property and can’t wait to return."

"Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

"Hosts were very friendly, pool and deck were incredible. The rooms were much bigger than I expected "

"Outstanding place to stay! Everything was perfect and the owner was always available for recommendations on things to do or places to see in the area. House was superb and the pool was over the top perfect! Thank you Jackie and Rick for everything!"
