The open concept living area and a well-appointed gourmet kitchen with an oversized island allows the group to gather and watch the meal preparation while catching up on the day’s activities. Overstuffed sofas and leather side chairs invite people to assemble for cozy conversations. There’s also a game area with a regulation-sized pool table. You feel as if you are cocooned in this area with the specially designed beamed ceiling. The formal dining area is so well-designed that while dining under the glistening crystal chandelier, you’ll want to linger longer over coffee and dessert for more intimate conversations. All sites for the rental said that the community pool was heated for that time of year. This was a very important factor for me when deciding where to stay as I have a daughter with eczema & very sensitive skin, she can’t swim in the ocean. To our disappointment, I had to watch her during the entire stay sit it out every time that we all went to swim. The pool WAS NOT heated. When I notified the rental agency they said I could heat it for 60\. A day. Really?? I’m going to pay 60 a day for the entire community to use a heated pool? The home itself was gorgeous & perfect other than the lie about the pool. Housekeeping could have done a better job before we arrived. My fiance could stay on the first floor and I would stay on the third. When we arrived the first night, the AC unit on the third floor was not working. We suffered through the night. I called the property manager and they send two people out and by the time we left for the wedding, the AC was repaired on the 3rd floor. My fiance had to get a hotel. It was a horrible experience. We come to get married and are charged these type of fees, to have no AC on the 3rd floor for 2 out of 4 days of our stay. I have reported my concern with the property manager and now when I call, it goes straight to a messaging center and hangs up. This is so wrong and I need help with making this right! They literally ruined my wedding weekend. My makeup artist and stylist struggled to keep me together due to the heat. We finally had to ask my fiance to leave the house so I could change floors. It is only steps to the private beach, which was not crowded even in middle of summer vacation season. The home itself is magnificent—spacious, beautiful detail in every room, luxurious bedding, huge showers in all bathrooms, gigantic kitchen with upscale appliances, and cannot say enough about the balconies, including the incredible rooftop balcony. The rental agency was very responsive and helpful. One comment on the neighborhood, while the beach is only steps away, it is accessible only by stairs. There is no ramp. Just something to be aware of for folks with limited mobility, or those counting on the ramp to haul beach gear/strollers. 10/10 — can’t wait to stay again. ##### Kelly R.
