However, the property in the photos when I booked was not what we got and I feel were misleading. The property needs a lot of TLC!! When we arrived the house was 77 degrees inside so there are issues with the central heating/air (maybe needs some Freon?). To compensate, the house had 2 portable air conditioning units with hoses going out the window (I question how secure that was): one in the living room and one in the bedroom which blocked the area around the bed in the master. Luckily there were fans for each bedroom but one had a broke blade and not usable. The curtain rod in the living room was loose, drooping in the middle and a window was cracked. The table in the kitchen had a leg loose (my husband fixed that) and one of the chair backs was broke so we couldn’t use it. The yard also needed some TLC but the covered parking was a plus! You can't tell a book by its cover! The property needs some exterior maintenance and landscape maintenance (lawn cutting), but in Spring in Colorado we let the grass grow to recover from the winter - we did have a few inches of snow during our stay. The interior of the house was excellent - clean and well laid out. The beds were comfortable, and the towels and bedding were excellent quality. Our two well behaved dogs loved the fenced back yard. The home was very clean. As to appliances, we did not use the stove or dishwasher so cannot comment on their functionality. We did find ample cleaning supplies, towels for kitchen and bath and paper towels. Loved the keurig for our morning coffee before heading out on our excursions. Had a problem with the AC and the property owner responded within an hour. We did discover an issue with the screening on some of the windows and will bring this to the owner's attention. So, too, as to the fencing for dogs. There was a hole where a small dog could escape and it needs repair. There was a lot of nearby stores for anyone who likes to cook during their stay. One thing I do wish the host would have advised me on was no AC. This property’s AC outside condenser was not running at all. They were kind enough to have 3 portable air units for 2 rooms and the living room but I wish they would have stated that in the amenities before I had booked I would have looked for a different option. I was told a technician would come out but never heard back again. It wasn’t such a big deal for my family of 5 but it would have been nice if I had a warning before. Communication between the host was great. I recommend this property for people who are staying in Colorado only a weekend. Overall great experience. I hope they can get the AC fixed. ##### Oscar R.
