« We had a great time during our visit. This place had the feel of a northern cabin, but was close to other activities. Was cozy inside and amenities were just right fir two. We enjoyed being able to wake up in the morning right on the lake. The sunsets were amazing and were basically outside the whole time. Family came for a cookout with the grill and we were able to fish and take the canoe out right from dock. Would absolutely stay again. Perfect time of year to enjoy the area. »

« A really beautiful home, wonderfully managed. Visiting our daughter at UMN and enjoying lake life. A bit of a drive from the University when we needed to go back and forth and weather wasn't cooperative but the house was perfect. We'd have preferred something on the larger lake not an access point for views but you got the feeling of lake life and photos are accurate. A great escape. »

« We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property. It offered well thought out spaces, that was suited for all age groups, and made our stay feel very “homey”.Our local family to this property said they will recommend this property for their extended family’s next visit because it was so clean and welcoming. You really did think of everything at this property, but if I could make one suggestion… a foldable clothes drying rack for laundry/wet suits. Otherwise, still 15 out of 10. »

« We stayed five nights at Waters edge retreat with our daughter and her husband and their two children ages six and two. The accommodations were perfect! The cottage was recently updated and spotless! It had ample room for our group, including laundry. It was well stocked with dishes, pots, and pans, spices, extra paper, towel, etc. Dishes and pots and pans were all in beautiful condition! There is no zero entry into the lake, but it is very shallow near shore and we had no problem swimming there...

« An absolutely delightful place, minutes from any place you want to be in the Elk River region. Tucked in the trees along the water. Cozy, warm, comfortable, amenities and decorations are spot on. You won’t want to leave. We will definitely be headed back. We can’t say it enough nice things about the place and the hosts. You can tell how much they love the space just by being there. I’m delighted they are sharing that with us through VRBO. »

« We had several family events during our stay. It was very easy to come and go from this location. We had no trouble or difficulty with the property. Guiseppe and Anna provided a wonderful "home away from home" for us, plus they allowed our dog. It was clean, comfortable, in a nice neighborhood; close to great walking and biking trails and many other recreation opportunities. Close to stores and culture too. « We had a weekend stay with 5 adults and 2 dogs and the space was great! Plenty of space for everyone and the outside space is perfect. Great access to the water for kayaking and paddle boarding. The sunrise views are lovely! The stay exceeded our expectations and we will be back again! Also to note, there is patio furniture (table and 8 chairs) on the upstairs deck and 2 chairs on the bottom patio that is not photographed. »

"Il y a une piscine ouverte en plein milieu de l établissement une odeur de chlore assez forte est présente partout ! Je suis arrivée à l hôtel aux alentours de 21h00 je n ai pas pu fermer l œil avant au moins 1h à cause de jeunes extrêmement bruyants !!! Le petit déjeuner est cher pour ce qui est proposé et vous n avez pas le temps d aller vous resservir qu on débarrasse déjà la table !!!"
