Sleeps 4, King on main floor with ensuite bath and 2 Twins on upper level with ensuite bath. Full kitchen. Awesome views from every level of this charming cabin. Wrap around deck and just one or two steps to enter. "Eagle Point" - Powder Horn Mountain \*VIEWS\* \* Propane Grill \* Wood Fireplace \* Free use of resort amenities \* Wrap around deck \*Pets ok, limit 2, $50 per pup after you book Eagle Point is located in the very quiet community of Powder Horn Mountain. This half duplex home has a wrap around deck and magnificent views from every level. Propane Grill is available for guests. Main floor has just 2 steps for entry so it is perfect easy access. first floor has a bedroom with KING and ensuite full bathroom. Kitchen and living room/dining room are also on this level. The upper level has a small loft and a bedroom with 2 twin beds and full ensuite bathroom. This is a great little economical getaway for anyone. The home is well stocked in the kitchen with a keurig/drip coffee maker, pots, pans, crockpot, mixer, knives etc. Renters have access to the outdoor pool during the summer months as well as miles hiking trails, clubhouse, fitness center, tennis, campground, fishing, paddle boating, and more. The house is a great getaway, located just a few hours from Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston Salem, and Raleigh. The home is furnished with a good supply of kitchen amenities and of course all linens are provided. As for the wood burning fireplace, please bring your own firewood. The house has fiber optic Internet so you will be able to stream your favorite flicks! Cell phone signal is descent especially if you have Verizon but wifi calling is available. (check the settings on your phone) This house is the absolute getaway.PETS are $50 PER PET and charged separately after your initial booking. Please make note of any pets when you book. Just minutes to Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, West Jefferson, High County festivals, Fly Fishing, Blue Ridge Mountains, Appalachian Trail,Wineries, Breweries, App State Football! Amazing views and very quiet. The property has a pool, fitness center, lake with paddle boats and trails. If you're planning to explore the area, hiking, etc., it's 20 minutes of a drive down a mostly winding road to get to the main highway. For this reason, i rated location a 4\. But for beauty and serenity, it would rate 5\. Some of the home is a little dated, but it was super clean. Linens and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is too small if you want to do a lot of food storage or cooking, but if you're just doing breakfasts there, it meets the purpose. Overall, a very relaxing getaway. ##### Debra T. We loved going down to the creek, visiting the pool, and meeting all of the friendly people who reside in the community. The community is a hidden gem. The only thing I didn’t realize, but didn’t matter was the washer and dryer are under the house and you must go outside, down some steps and back into a storage type space. It may be a duplex but you wouldn’t know it. Awesome patio with huge grill overlooking the mountains. Gave us many incredible sunrise and sunset views. We found the WiFi worked great and didn’t experience any delays. I use Verizon and my mum uses another provider. Once we figured out the heat, it was perfect and it holds the temps well. There are amenities in the resort such as swimming pool and campground with hikes where to enjoy nature, I guess particularly if travelling with kids. The description and recommendations are very accurate: you should be aware that the closest grocery store is about 20-30 mins (so they recommend you stop by before checking in), satellite internet service is limited (it rained and we lost signal for a few hours), the AC unit is portable and therefore noisy. But overall we enjoyed our stay a lot, including our dog. It was relaxing and we explored not only the immediate surroundings but Boone, Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin needs to be cleaned better, smells musky and of suet. We have stayed in better cabins for the same price. I apologize for being so negative. My husband has asthma and kept a headache. Our dog loved watching for wildlife from the deck. Comfortable bed, adequate kitchen, nice fireplace and large windows with nice views. We had a little trouble at first with the door lock, but we figured it out and the manager said she would address it right away. We will likely come again. ##### Candace B.
