Went there twice to check in twice and no one there. Called twice and no answer. Had to find a different hotel. Ramp was broken and dangerous. Tripped on it.

The pictures make this look like a luxury spa getaway. While the proximity was convenient, the experience was terrible. The room was hot, the staff was not prepared for our stay. The room felt grimy. The sheets felt filthy. The shower had soap scum. There were no amenities and cigarette butts, matches, etc…were scattered everywhere. There’s no door to the bathroom which is awkward and should be stated in the description. We were told we would have a code to get in and out of our room, we were never given one despite me leaving my name and number to receive it. A man knocked on our door at 11pm to have me write down my email, so they could charge me for my room. This woke my two small children up. Then when we were leaving, the property manager stood behind my car smoking a cigarette waiting for me to back up because they hadn’t actually ever sent an invoice. 0/10 do not recommend.

Comically bad. If we were planning to stay for more than one night we would have demanded a refund and gone elsewhere. No toilet paper in the room. Unswept. Kitchen was disgusting. Phone number for owner was disconnected. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels, BnBs, VRBOs, etc. This one was bottom 10.

It’s a great place! In a nice part of town. Neat old houseThe only problem was no hot water in the room.The next night we were given another room in another building and the Shower had hot water but not the sink.

The venue is historic and has a certain charm but the bed was incredibly squeaky and uncomfortable and there were lots of noises throughout the night. The check-in clerk was friendly and the location was convenient for our plans. Can use some general updating for accommodating guests.

There was no one at reception desk , we went for dinner , no one there ,called a number for someone to come Room was good but was not the one we booked Breakfast was a disaster owner was there but he couldn’t make anything Oranges were taken out of grocery bag and put on table No staff , owner finally asked one of the guests if they knew how to cook an omelette 11/2 hours after ordering no breakfast Everyone left No coffee was offered Owner does not know what he is doing

No one was available for check in, the number left on the door went to a full mailbox. Using the contact number went to someone who spoke broken English then hung up on me. Finally someone called me and said they would be there in 10 minutes. 30 minutes later they showed us to a dirty room. I nearly requested a refund and drove home, but it was close to the Rolex 24 we drove to see. Over heard the owner say his staff quit and he would make breakfast which he doesn’t really know how to do.

Conflicted stay.
Great location. Very friendly staff. The negatives were a tough night of sleep. Because of hardwood floors and thin doors you can hear any type of noise outside the door. Room needs its own thermostat. Blind would not go all the way down at window.

Hi Brian, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about your stay. I can understand your concerns regarding a good night's sleep. It is difficult to control the noise of other guests and staff outside the bedroom. If you give us another chance, I would recommend one of our more private rooms to stay in next time. We have one called "Jane". This offers a private entrance and a full kitchen and bath. It is not connected to the two historical homes, yet has views of both of them. I would be happy to assist you if you'd like to join us again. I would love to make this up to you. Thanks again; your feedback is appreciated.

Waterfront Daytona location just beautiful
This location is amazing! Historic bed & breakfast across from a marina on the waterfront. The bed was very comfortable. Nice new, robes were a nice touch. New owner is trying very hard to make an outstanding property. But there is still some work to be done.

Wonderful!
We had the most pleasant stay here. The owner, Martha, was warm and welcoming and delighted to give us a tour of her inn. It has an incredibly rich history. The Golden Magnolia is very tastefully decorated and extremely clean and comfortable. Our room was amazing, from the very comfortable beds to the jacuzzi tub. The breakfast was delicious, so much better than any poor excuse for a breakfast that is included with many hotel stays. The historic neighborhood where the inn is located is so beautiful. Full of old oak trees and across the street from a picturesque marina, where yachts are docked. Anything you might need is only a very short drive away. I wish we could have stayed longer, and we can’t wait to come back.

The Golden Magnolia Marine Resort is a charming and cozy bed and breakfast that offers a personalized experience for its guests. The inn is housed in a historic home and serves as a great option for anyone looking for a relaxing waterfront getaway. One of the standout features of this inn is its old-fashioned approach to hospitality, where coffee and breakfast are included in the stay. The B&B manager personally cooks and serves breakfast, which adds to the overall quaint and charming atmosphere of the inn. Located right across the street from the marina where the local Freedom Boat Club is located, the Golden Magnolia Marine Resort is an ideal location for boaters and water enthusiasts. The beautiful waterfront views of the surrounding area add to the ambiance of the inn. The rooms at the Golden Magnolia Marine Resort are spacious and comfortable, with a uber-comfortable king bed that was so comfortable, that I missed some of our weekend activities. Additionally, the heated seat and automatic flush in the bathroom were a pleasant surprise. The only potential downside is the occasional noise from the nearby train horn, which could be disruptive to light sleepers. However, overall, the Golden Magnolia Marine Resort offers a wonderful option for those looking for a personalized and charming bed and breakfast in a beautiful waterfront location.

The beds were so very comfortable and the room was larger than expected. I loved that we had a balcony. 8:30am breakfast is late for us early risers. It would have been nice to have coffee available much earlier than 815.
