    The Space:

    Recently redecorated from top to bottom, this Gulf front home is the perfect, four-bedroom getaway for the entire family! Start your day with breakfast prepared in your well-equipped, full kitchen, dine together at the table for six, and then kick back and watch some TV in your sunny and inviting living area. And when it's time to get outdoors, relax on your furnished, beachfront deck or take a couple steps down to the sand to play in the warm Gulf waters. And for sleeping options, this vacation rental offers four comfortable bedrooms including one with a king-size bed, two with queens, and one with two sets of twin bunks.



    What's nearby:

    Tee off at Island Golf, just under three miles from your door. Head across the bay on the ferry and take a guided tour of historic Fort Gaines, an early nineteenth century fortress on the east end of Dauphin Island (a little over 10 miles away). And for local dining options, check out Islanders Restaurant, Pirate's Bar & Grill, and Dority's, all within three miles of this home.

Trent was a god send, so friendly and he helped us old folks unload our heavy stuff! I don’t know how we could have gotten it hauled in without his generosity. The house was spacious and clean. It literally is the closest to the ocean than any other house in that area. Lovely patio with lots of chairs with an outside dining table AND a working gas grill. Yay! The kitchen is well equipped. Nice dishwasher, oven & microwave. The place is a little worn in places but not enough to bother us. Only three complaints. The sand isn’t cleared to drive more than halfway to the house which would make a big difference in accessibility. The dryer doesn’t work properly. It wouldn’t dry our clothes past one, maybe two loads and the key entry was totally inoperative, leaving us with one key for the door. All in all we enjoyed and would stay again.

If you enjoy being "on the beach" this is the place. Parking is a bit of a challenge but it worked out OK. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

Midsummer solstice- large family perspective

Overall family friendly environment. Good variety of pots, pans dishes for large family. One highlight for our family was a pod of dolphins that swam past the house one morning during our stay. The kids (including teens) enjoyed building sandcastles from items we brought from home. It was a nice vacation spot!

Dauphin island is amazing! The house is perfect for you to sit on the deck and watch dolphins literally all day. Very clean. House is on the smaller side but worked great for our family. Would book again
