Beautiful home with everything provided. Ice maker didn't work, but it was no problem. Hosts are wonderful!Over 360 steps to the beach, but we made it, toned up, and enjoyed.

Father's Day Family Trip!!❤️

Beautiful Home!!! Comfortable Beds! Everything you need to enjoy your stay on the island!!!! The only thing that was difficult for us was the path to the Beach, deep sandy spots, sticker weeds in your feet if you didn't have tennis shoes on, and Hot Sand in the kids feet some git blisters because the walk was so far.... But all in all we had a Great Stay!! Would do it again but just find a different path to the Beach

Dauphin Island beach house

Beautifully decorated with a well stocked kitchen. We had issues with cleanliness and our cleaning fee was refunded. The owner said there had been problems with her cleaning crew in the past. Also, we thought we could walk to the end of the street to access the beach, not so. We had to walk across the yard of the home across the street. The walk was longer. The sand was so hot we had to wear shoes on the way back. The owner was very attentive and responsive. We did appreciate this!

Property was great. Not enough detail given in the listing about items provided - coffee maker, grill etc. Distance to the beach was difficult but the beach was great when you got there. Instructions for departure need to be consolidated and consistent in all communications. Printed copy in house (older) did not agree with the text/email info sent.

Best vacay ever

Y’all have to know, I was staying in this house for 3 weeks. First week with my sister and then her husband for last night. First week toilet handle broke, was repaired before we went to bed. Second week with best friend and a few more to celebrate her 50th birthday. Third week with my son and his family. Hung out under house while he was grilling. Very nice with concrete under the house. We loved it. Hosts were amazing. Bit of a walk to beach over dunes, but who doesn’t need to get more steps each day. It was a laid back 3 weeks for me. I will probably do it again.

First week of three in this well maintained house. Nicely decorated with comfy beds. The kitchen is well stocked. More than enough to cook or not. Nice deck with plenty seating. Little bit of a walk to beach, but not bad.

Natural Beauty Gem

If you love natural beauty - this is the place for you! This is our first stay on the island, and we loved it!!! The walk to the beach is a little more than a minute, but we also enjoyed the public beaches on the island. In the late afternoon or early morning, you can access them without paying the $10.00 fee. We especially loved the East End beach for the sunrise and birds, and the West End each for the sunset. Somewhere in the Sun is the perfect location to access everything on the island. It is very comfortable with cute décor. We really enjoyed hanging out at this great beach house. Make sure you make plans to bring groceries with you - that is the only challenge you will have on the beautiful D.

Great Beach House, very clean and well kept

We very much enjoyed our stay at this beach house. It was clean, had plenty of accommodations, the kitchen was well stocked, so nice that the owner has beach essentials (chairs, umbrellas, cart, toys,etc) for the renter to use. Cutest decor, appliances and style are top notch. It was very spacious, rooms were big, beds comfy, tv in every room, and we loved the huge porch and downstairs area. It was so nice to have dinner on the back porch after a day at the beach. The owner did a wonderful job of having plenty of seating outside for a big family to enjoy. We enjoyed the big yard and swing downstairs as well. The walk to the beach is a hard trek, especially with little ones but we made it work. The beach was beautiful and quiet, lots of space for us to enjoy, not crowded, it was perfect! We had a wonderful, short stay and will definitely be coming back again. The owner was very accommodating and very quick to respond to any of my questions, which I very much appreciate!

Overall Good

Communication was excellent. House wasn’t cleaned well, but addressed by Host. Wifi didn’t work most of the week, but Host addressed it with Xfinity right away. Walk to the beach is less than desirable. Plenty of towels. Starter amounts of soaps & paper products. Comfortable furniture, minus the beds. Overall a nice property & satisfactory location. Very pleased with Host & that outweighs the majority of the downfalls.

Wonderful beach stay

We absolutely loved our stay at this beach house and it was exactly what we were looking for. There was an issue with check-in but it was resolved within 30 minutes so it wasn't a big deal. The internet/ wifi was out for most of our trip but we weren't too concerned with it as we spent most of our time at the beach. We can't wait to come back to Dauphin Island and stay here again. Thanks for helping making our trip wonderful.

Beautiful home!

The house is beautiful and is decorated with a beach theme throughout. The kitchen was well stocked, and we had access to beach chairs, umbrella, etc, which was nice. The house is in a great location and it was a short walk to the beautiful beach. Because of the rain/standing water, we did have to deal with a lot of mosquitoes on our walks to and from the beach. So I recommend bringing bug spray for sure. I loved the outdoor seating on the porch and under the house. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

Peaceful Week

We enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful week! Loved the extras available like the coolers, beach cart, and beach toys! The house was very clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed. The outside shower was extra nice after a long day at the beach! We spent most mornings on the porch in the lounge chairs while the kids played on the swing downstairs. We would love to visit again!
