Pleasant environment. Quiet like we enjoy. Location to stream was nice. Privacy very good
Adjacent to old farmstead was nice. Had a problem communicating with manager. Says he didn’t receive any of my texts or phone calls until after we left the cabin for home.

Really nice cabin
Just the smartest cabin, space cleverly used. Great porch, cookout area near bubbling mountain brook. Close enough to enjoy MT Rogers, Grayson Highlands Park, Virginia Creeper trail.

Beautiful, cozy cabin. Two great porches and deer that would walk within a few feet of us. Conveniently located right down the road from the top of the Virginia Creeper Trail. We will definitely be back.

Glimpse of Paradise

Perfect Escape
The cabin is even better in person! I never sleep well away from home, but slept great here! The location along the creek is perfect. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was very clean. I’d love to come back and stay longer.

Just What We Needed
My wife and I absolutely loved this cabin/property. The location was perfect for our plans to hike in and around WhiteTop and to ride the Creeper Trail. After a day of hiking or biking, we would return to the cabin and enjoy our evenings sitting out beside the stream that runs through the back of the property, so soothing and relaxing. We hope to return soon!

Great Getaway
We had a wonderful stay at Bear Creek Cabin. The cabin was delightful with everything we needed including a great burbling creek right in front. Convenient to the Creeper Trail, the Barter Theatre and Abingdon as well as White Mountain and Grayson Highlands Park. Would definitely recommend it.

Cozy cabin for sure
We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend. Appreciated fire pit, dry, easy to light firewood and gas grill. Cabin looked better in person than the pics. Location was great being close to Grayson Highlands SP for hiking and New River for kayaking.

Serene Mountain Setting
Gorgeous home and setting nestled in the hills with a rushing brook just outside beyond the firepit and porch. Nice features in a great setting. The well maintained landscape was pleasant surprise.

Awesome stream!
Having the creek right outside the house was great for our 10-year-olds. They played in the COLD water for hours. Good thing there's a fire pit right there. Thanks for the wood. We had a great time!!

Great outdoor retreat
The property was beautiful and everything was perfect. We really enjoyed having a late night fire by the river and were extremely thankful that kindling was set up for our arrival. The only regret we had was not spending more time in this cozy cabin.

The Magic house
This is our 2nd time staying here and we have now dubbed it “The Magic House” as we always enjoy something spectacular and unexpected. This time we got snow! Just enough to be outside by the fire ring in the evening and then to wake up to such beauty. No problem traveling on the roads at all. The cabin is lovely and just as it looks in the pictures. Close enough to everything you might want, but has the feeling of so far away and peaceful. The owners are very responsive and a joy to work with. Thanks again!

Fall getaway
Logged more than 3K miles (from TX) in a 12 day quest to experience a proper autumn in the mountains of NC and Va, I booked four VRBOs, Andrews to Damascus. This wonderful property was the best, hands down, in all categories. Pristine clean, convenient location, well appointed, uniquely decorated. Very much enjoyed the decks, stream, fire pit. Able to explore so much nearby, hiking biking fishing. It was a lovely wrap-up of a restful break. Thank you for sharing your getaway.
