"The room was very clean and comfortable with a good size en-suite. The self-serve continental breakfast is always plentiful and fresh. The location is perfect for exploring the local area and the bonus is the pub with local cider and excellent food options for vegetarians and meat lovers alike. "We’re walking the Herefordshire Trail and stayed here for one night. I was a good choice. A lovely welcome. We had a room which was clean and comfortable with plenty of room to walk around. Food in the evening was good, with a good menu choice. Breakfast was excellent a good menu to choose from. All the staff were great. We would stay again if in Kington"

"We had a fantastic stay at Hilston Park, Monmouth, and would highly recommend it, especially for families. From the moment we arrived, the host was incredibly welcoming and kind, greeting us as soon as we pulled up. He went above and beyond to make our stay special and was brilliant with the children. They absolutely loved having a go on the quad bike, and he even set up a fire for us to enjoy before treating the kids to ice cream. These thoughtful touches really made the experience for us and made our stay extra memorable. The accommodation was spacious, clean and exceeded our expectations. The setting itself is beautiful, with huge grounds to explore, a lake and plenty of activities to enjoy. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to make the most of everything on offer, but there's so much to see and do that we'd love to return. One of our favourite things was the peaceful surroundings and lack of light pollution, meaning the night sky was absolutely beautiful. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The combination of lovely accommodation, a stunning setting and such a thoughtful, welcoming host made our stay truly special. We would definitely recommend Hilston Park to anyone looking for a family-friendly getaway!"
