The location was perfect to stroll around downtown and catch a bite to eat or grab a beer. The bed was comfortable, the room was extremely clean and all in all it was a great stay for two nights.

This is a great location if you arrive by train. There is also parking nearby. Easy to use the code sent to gain remote access. My room was pleasant, well appointed and comfortable. Shops and places to eat are very close.

This was a charming and very comfortable place to stay. The brewery is across the street and we thoroughly enjoyed being in town so we could shop and enjoy the local restaurants.

Hotel was very clean bed was comfortable and very conveniently located. Staff took a while to respond to any problems. Our tv wouldn't work it took a couple hours to hear from the after hours person but he was helpful once he called. The regular staff didn't respond till the morning and simply sent me the instructions that were already in the room and hitch was not helpful.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well thought out each part of our stay was by the hotel owner. Water in the fridge, bathrobes, friendly staff, ice machine in lobby, fireplace that worked, etc.

I loved staying at this unique hotel. The staff was super friendly, the room was spacious and immaculately clean. There’s a great coffee shops just a few doors down. Also, the bathroom had a steam shower which was amazing.

Perfect for a weekend getaway, the suite was beautiful, walking distance to everything, quiet, and romantic. As toddler parents, we wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for families, though it would be fine, but it was perfect for the two of us to get away.

The Suites at 249 was absolutely GORGEOUS!!! I was blown away by the decor of the Violetta suite, which was exactly my taste. I didn’t expect such a modern and updated venue to be in historic Culpepper. Parking was easy and it seemed to be in an ideal location even though I was there for only one night.

Mid week stay

Great spot to stay in downtown Culpeper. The Verde Suite was well appointed and very comfortable. Spotless. My only complaint was a strong smell of bleach when we entered the room, but it dissipated quickly. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the big windows looking out on the street. Very quiet at night.

Gorgeous room. Everything was immaculate and perfect. And it was quieter than I expected. There was an event the day we were there, and really couldn't hear anything but distant music. Lovely.
