"This place was great. The staff was amazing. Bartenders were awesome. Great to chat to shout out to Paula, Jerome, and Angie for some good times great conversation and awesome drinks. The staff was awesome as well, very accommodating to whatever we may have wanted the one downside I would say was there was no dresser in our room, but we did have a closet and picked up a lot of hangers to use instead. Would definitely be coming back again love this place."

"The sand castle in St. Croix is amazing. It only let me give five stars. If I could give 100 I would. Everyone was so kind and friendly. There were two beautiful pools and plenty of beach, chairs and umbrellas to go around. The beach was just stunning and is steps from the hotel. They provide snorkeling, equipment, kayaks, chair, covers, and beach towels at no charge. We stayed in the Secret Haven Villa which was perfect! The management even brought in a mattress pad when the bed was a little hard on my back. We ate at the restaurant there several nights food was outstanding and so were the drinks. The hotel is less than a mile from the Frederickstead pier great views, shopping and restaurants. Take the advice of the hotel and rent a car but if you’re looking for a quiet relaxing vacation where you don’t have to go anywhere all you need is available at the Sand Castle! "

"The home is just as pictured.Very clean and cozy. Ocean view. Everything was in walking distance beach 4 min walk restaurant, and stores also. The host Charles is a really nice guy .Truly had a great time. I hope to be back soon ."

"I would not recommend staying at this hotel. My experience was very disappointing. There were roaches in the dining area. While my wife, another couple, and I were eating, roaches were coming out of the table. When we told the staff, they said they already knew about the problem. I also found a dead roach in my bed, which was very upsetting. The dresser had a broken strap hanging off. The entry door to the bathroom door handle was on backwards. I had to put it on the right way. The service was poor from check-in to check-out. They pick and choose which guest to offer the trolly belhop service to. I had to carry my wife’s and I baggage to our room upon arrival. Most of the staff seemed to have a bad attitude, and we did not feel welcome at all. As someone who works in hotel management and travels often, this was the first time I felt this uncomfortable at a hotel. The property itself is run down and needs a lot of improvement, both in maintenance and customer service. There is also very little to do nearby, and the restaurants recommended by the hotel are about 30 minutes away. The only positive part of our stay was Lydia, who was friendly and introduced herself. Overall, I suggest paying extra to stay somewhere else. I would visit St. Croix again, but not this hotel. "

"My family had such a wonderful stay. Grandkids did not want to leave. Swimming in the beautiful pool the view of mountains and water are indescribable. The home is well kept and so peaceful. We were close to everything we wanted to do. Gail was a perfect host. We absolutely loved this stay and I hope we get to come back. "

"Mary was our onsite host and she was fantastic--responsive to every need we had. The location was a particular plus for us because it placed us much closer to our favorite destinations on the north, west and central shores of the island. The pool and hot tub were very enjoyable after a day of hiking or snorkeling. The setting of the condo was very relaxing. Kitchen supplies were a little thin, but the filtered ice maker and full size refrigerator were a welcome amenity. We struggled with the Smart TVs but received help from our host, which met most of our needs. Many thanks to Mary and her staff for all of the attention she provided us during our stay. Of note: the pictured unit was NOT where we stayed. Our bathrooms did not have bidets (not an issue for us!), and the bedrooms did not open out via doors to the balcony. In fact, one bedroom opened out onto a back alleyway containing water heaters and other plumbing infrastructure. Not a deal breaker, but a bit of a disappointment. I would happily stay here again if I was assured of a more attractive egress for both bedrooms on a 2nd or 3rd floor of this attractive 3-story building. Thank you! "
