Staff went above and beyond especially considering I’d arrived a day early ! The manager and reception staff went out of their way to resolve the situation. Restaurant excellent, would recommend.

The Belsfield Hotel
Beautiful. Elegant. Imposing. The hotel is a stunning place to stay. We got an upgrade room overlooking the lake. Fantastic location in Bowness-on-Windermere and a hot buffet breakfast overlooking the lake in the morning.

We came back late from a long walk in the Lakes and realize arriving in our room that they gave us a room with no blind or curtain !!!! Pleasant, comfortable and reasonably priced accomodation close to train station and local buses. Plenty of eating and drinking options close by. Would definitely consider when staying in The Lakes again.
