The property was extremely dirty and had boil order notices. Outdoor garbage cans were filled to overflowing and stuffed with be bottles, causing the area to smell like a very dirty bar. Staff at check in didn't know anything about my booking and then changed my booking from a 2 bed room to a one bed room with a full instead of a queen with no notice. When asked why, they had no answer and had difficulty communicating in English.

Get what you pay for…
Gross. Bugs everywhere, dirty, looks like no one takes care of the place. Hair dryer mount on the wall, but no hair dryer. Large spider hanging from ceiling right above the entry door. Webs everywhere on the walls that no one bothered to clean. Bathroom was barely passable. Hot water takes forever to get warm. The whole place is run down. Checking in takes forever as the desk uses an old dirty PC that looks like it hasn’t been updated in at least a decade. The wifi info on the wall is outdated from the previous owners and you have to call the desk to get the current login and password…with your own phone btw because there’s no phone in the room. Don’t stay here. Best Western or Holiday Inn next door are more expensive but just spend the extra money and stay there instead.

Very sketchy place. My husband and I came to town for a graduation so I booked one night! The parking lot was full of derelicts. There were kids running back and forth in room above ours at 11pm. Could not call front desk because there is no phone in the room. Smelled bad,

A lot of garbage and stuff around the property there trying to upgrade stuff like the roof but don't understand the concept of keeping a clean property seen someone throwing trash out the window while at the property and the water had a rotten egg/sulfur smell only positives were the price for the area and close to my job site.

God awful
This motel should be shut down by the Dept.of Health, and by the Dept. of Buildings for code violations. It is in disrepair, dirty, and dangerous due to the transient nature of the clientele and the isolated area location. I slept with a baseball bat. That's how scared I was. You should not advertise this place on your website.

The motel was so dirty, the mattress and box spring were horrible, including blood stains. The sheets and comforters had so many stains and didn’t seem clean. There were gobs of hair in the bathroom and everything was dirty, visible dirt everywhere. Our door didn’t even shut correctly and we didn’t feel safe at all.

This motel is horrible! DO NOT AND DO NOT stay here! It is dirty, the trash wasn't removed from previous stays! Flies in the room, smells strongly with cigarettes, bathrooms are disgusting, untidy! I regret choosing this place to stay that we did not sleep the entire night! We kept calling other hotels around at 2 AM to see if we can stay somewhere else. Unfortunately everything around us were booked so we ended up staying here and stayed wide awake all night! The area the motel is situated looks like abandoned house, with unclean environment and no maintenance!

True gem in the Hudson Valley
Our stray at the hotel was great, spotless room with great views and fully functional appliances. Free Direct TV with large choice of TV programs. Free parking on premises, close to local farms, hikes and shopping plazas. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to spend a short term or a long term vacation surrounded by nature, this motel is a true gem nested in the middle of the Hudson Valley !

They advertise TV and restaurant, but the restaurant is being gutted and the TVs in all the rooms do not work. I am well aware this in not a 5 star place, as I travel extensively, but I expect sheets on my bed in the least! I just needed a quick overnight stay, but this place is a mess. More importantly, Expedia should NOT advertise for them.

This place is a pit. Don't stay here.
This place is a pit. Don't stay here. Yeah, it's inexpensive, so I didn't expect a Hilton. But there are some basics that any motel should provide. Not this one. The room had no TV. There was dirt, dust, and paint chips on the floor and furniture. More than one light bulb was non-functioning. The soap at the sink was open and a wadded up washcloth was near it. I surmise that someone washed his hands, dried them with the washcloth, then just left it. The bathroom fixtures were corroded. There were nails or tacks sharp side up under the carpet near the bathroom door which I stepped on more than once. Several pillows had no pillowcases. The pillows were stacked in a way that made me think someone had been using them, like maybe for naps. The air conditioning didn't work well - mostly warm air. There was no toilet paper dispenser - just a roll on the edge of the tub. The box springs were ripped and sagging. The bedframes were rusty and wobbly. There was loose garbage piled outside near the bottom of the stairs. Cigarette butts littered the outside floor on both the first and second floors. The outside stairs were rotting and sagging. The railings on the stairs and around the second floor were rusty. The 21B Hotel is an absolute dump. It's not the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, but it's close. I saw my stay through, because I'm pretty low maintenance and was there for only two days. But I absolutely, positively will not stay here again and I recommend that no one else do so.

We didn’t even stay in the room 5 minutes before we left and found another hotel 20 minutes away. It was disgusting and unsafe. Door has been broken in already. The whole door frame and the top safety lock were busted off. There was no phone in the room. Everything was dirty and smelled. Towels smelled and looked dirty. Do not go here.

I do not understand how this note is allowed to operate. By far the most disgusting conditions I have ever seen. Our room smelled like cigarettes, there were cigarette stains all over the popcorn ceilings, the tv didn’t work, the ac was so dirty I would be surprised if we all didn’t contract mesothelioma. We were the only people staying in the entire place until about 330 am and I’m pretty sure this is a motel that prostitutes use- I will put it that way. I felt dirtier AFTER taking a shower at this place the shower was so disgusting. The water smelled like straight sulfur. Absolutely horrendous.
