Pelicans Place LCV23 has great views from the deck, of the dunes and Gulf of Mexico horizons just beyond. This beach house has 5 bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms and offers wireless internet. The exterior stairs lead to the 2nd floor entrance to this home. Sit back and relax on the ample couch space in the second floor living room and enjoy watching the 46” Flat Screen TV. The second floor also has a full kitchen, dining room, and two bedrooms (2 sets of bunks in one and the other has a queen bed and bath). Go upstairs to the third level for the Primary Bedroom with a king size bed and an awesome unobstructed view of the Gulf horizon. The separate first floor is not internally accessible to the second floor. You will find two more queen bedrooms, a bathroom, washer/dryer, living/dining areas and its own kitchenette on the first floor. Grill is not provided. This unit has no interior stairs. The walk to the beach was not far and the views were great! There is an inside staircase to the 3rd floor master room (the house description says there is not). A grill is NOT provided even though there is one in the pictures. Luckily we had brought our own grill and griddle. According to the HOA regulations a grill can not be with 10' of the house. Walls had evidence of smashed mosquitos. Dead bugs. Master bath has mold/mildew on cabinetry. Floors throughout are lifting and pinch bare feet. Master bed mattress is rock hard. Reviewer Comments: I stayed with a group of friends this past weekend and this home was great! It was very clean, air conditioner and all appliances worked, and it was very close to the beach. There is a boardwalk right on site that heads to the beach and is only a 3-5 min walk. I have stayed at a couple other places in port a and this one has been my favorite. The property was well equipped, better than we expected! It worked out very well for our whole family, And it was also fairly close to the beach, which is where we spent a great deal of time! One thing that you might want to fix is the wood flooring in the living room hallway on the 2nd floor. It's bowing and coming apart. Thank you! ##### Paul V. However, our family has grown so much we now need a much larger space. This beach house was perfect for us. The kids and their wives and children slept in the downstairs apartment. For us the location was perfect as we didn't want to be to close to the Spring Break crowds. The only negative I could say about this house was the disconnect from the lower lover. We had 5 couples in our party and two of them who slept on the first level had to go outside in the rain to come up to the 2nd floor main level to join the rest of us for dinner or just socializing. ##### Jerry D. She has leukemia and many health issues that come along with age. But....she is determined to carry on with our family traditions and one is always a yearly trip to Padre Islands! We chose this property so she would not have to climb stairs and it worked out perfectly! We love the Lost Colonies area and have stayed several times in different homes on property. It is one of the best and most convenient beach front properties for all ages!
