Rustic cabin hidden among the pines.

Experience the Rocky Mountains of western Montana in this rustic cabin centrally located in the Swan Valley. Enjoy magnificent views of the Swan Range of the Bob Marshall Wilderness to the east and Mission Mountains Wilderness to the west.

The cabin overlooks a spring-fed 7 acre pond with views of the double falls on the Swan Mountain range. Elk, native trout, great blue herons, frogs, deer, ducks, geese, and turtles are among the frequent inhabitants.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. Full size Stove and Refrigerator , Microwave,Toaster, and Coffee Maker. Pots & Pans along with Dinnerware & Silverware. There is one bathroom with a shower. Towels and washcloths are provided. The cabin can sleep 6 with an upper split loft with twin bunk beds and a full size bed and a queen bed in the main floor.

Outdoor living is made easy with a grill and picnic table.

Located in a region of dozens of pristine lakes, waterfalls, rivers, and mountain trails, there are ample opportunities for recreation.

Enjoy canoeing/kayaking/paddle boarding, go horseback riding or boating. Other outdoor opportunities include fly-fishing the Swan River, hiking, hunting, huckleberry picking, mountain biking, snow mobiling or cross country skiing the myriad of trails and roads on public lands in the region. Or just throw a hammock up and spend the day relaxing.

There is no wrong way to spend a mountain day.

This cabin sits on Falls Creek guest ranch. There are 5 other cabins tucked into the trees along the pond. All are listed here

Beautiful cabin

2nd time with this host. Both cabins have been as shown in the listing, quiet location about an hour and a half drive from glacier with plenty of sights to stop and see in the area. Cabin is clean with everything you need to feel at home.

The cabin was cozy the views are amazing. Even for a local i really enjoyed the backdrop. Barbara went the extra mile for our team and we felt very welcome. I look forward to going back in the summer when the waterfall in going. Would recommend for a getaway. Thanks again.

Birthday vacation

August 3rd - 6th stayed to celebrate my birthday with my sister and a family friend and her son also with two dogs. All that was need for us to bring was food for our stay and if we forgot something the market was down the road. Small town atmosphere was great. Cabin was just what was needed for our stay.

Short stay but lots to do

We stayed here as a stop over for our next location. After arriving, we wished we could stay longer! We want to plan a family reunion here in the future. Cabin was cute and quaint. There is a pond where you can kayak, a gathering place with wifi and games, a grill on each front porch and beautiful surroundings.

Rustic Charm

If you like simplicity, wildlife, and solitude, then this is your place. No internet nor mobile service at the cabin so be prepared. There’s Wi-Fi in the property but we couldn’t find the building where it was at. Regardless, it was a great staycation for our family and Barbara was very responsive over email. Definitely a place we’ll come back to time and again.

Gorgeous property and cabin

This is an ideal location for a quiet getaway. There is a pond right outside the cabin and the owners provide kayaks and paddle boats for your use. It’s very close to trailheads, which makes hiking easy. I loved the location and the cabin is beautiful. Definitely recommend!!

Great little cabin

My family and I had the best time in this cute little cabin in a remote section of Montana. My 21 year old college student exclaimed it was the best place we have ever stayed. (We travel extensively so that was quite the compliment!) The cabin is very tiny so be prepared for close family time! We loved every minute of our short stay. I enjoyed being “unplugged” and spending time outside with my favorite people. The kayaks and paddleboat are definite positives!

Secluded with no WIFI or phone service. Instead had total connection with family and nature in beautiful setting with views of Swan Range from pond. Our grandkids explored area in kayak, paddle boat and row boat. Cabin is cute, very basic and clean. Owners are very hospitable and made our stay feel like home. Great memories were made.

Great Cabin

Overall, it is a very nice place. The owners communicated in a timely manner and provide detailed directions. The cabin itself is very nice and comfortably sleeps 5 or 6. One should come prepared with cooking oils and spices and shampoo. While there are all of the cooking dishes and utensils as well as hand soap and dish soap, the only other item is salt and pepper. Also, plan on your deposit getting withdrawn from your account and it does take up to two weeks for your refund. Don't get me wrong, the owners are fair and gave back deposit. Just count on having the funds in your account.

Cute Cabin in the Woods

This cabin was cozy and a lovely place to stay. The lack of WiFi/phone reception was nice, though I wish we had been given advanced notice of this as we planned to use the internet to plan our hikes for the following day. Pros: cozy, location, quiet, pet friendly, nice for 2 people, warm in middle of winter. Cons: HORRIBLE COFFEE MAKER- Bring your own if you want coffee, shower leaked, lacking welcome instructions/booklet combined with no cell service = no idea what the check out procedure was, no “extras” that are usually found at stays (cooking oil, sugar, shower items, games, maps of the area, etc)

Great cabin

Although we only stayed one night, our experience was perfect in every way. The pond is quite lovely, we enjoyed the deck very much, and we saw deer come through, heard fox that night. Would definitely stay again!

Great little rustic cabin in the woods!

We loved everything about our quiet cabin getaway. We stayed in late December so it was very cold. Bring lots of layers if you come in winter since the heaters have a hard time keeping up, but everything else was wonderful!
