Loved pet friendly. Staff was super nice. Carpets do need replacing but rooms were comfortable and clean. We were told restaurant was open til 10 pm but cook shut down fryers at 715.

It was a short stay, we were VERY pleased. Gorgeous when you walk in. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and had everything we needed. No complaints at all. It’s also less than 2 miles from the airport, and they provided shuttle service, so, very convenient!

Blu Hotel Cincinnati A Fair Review I believe in reviewing a hotel for what it is, not for what I wish it had been. My stay at the Blu Hotel Cincinnati was pretty much what I expected for the price: a clean place to lay my head, rest, and move on with my day. Was it spotless? No. But this is also not a new property, and there comes a point when cleaning can only do so much. Some areas of the hotel show their age, and there were definitely things around the property that could have been better maintained or updated. That being said, my room was clean enough for me to feel comfortable, and I got what I paid for. Where the Blu Hotel really stood out was the staff. They were incredible friendly, welcoming, helpful, and genuinely pleasant. They did not make you feel as though you were bothering them when you needed something. Good customer service can make a tremendous difference, especially at an older property, and the staff absolutely made my stay better. My critique would be directed more toward the upkeep and continued maintenance of the property than the people working there. There are some things that need attention, but I also understand that you cannot turn an older hotel into a brand new property simply through housekeeping. Bottom line: If you are expecting luxury, this probably is not your hotel. If you need an affordable, reasonably clean place to sleep with a genuinely friendly staff, Blu Hotel Cincinnati served that purpose for me. Sharen Sierra Travel Review
