The property condition and location were awesome. The problem was that there was a bar next door that played live music until midnight . I personally go to bed between 10:00 and 11: 00. Both me and my guests were unable to enjoy our rest due to this. You couldn't just hear the music you could feel it in your bed while you're trying to sleep. Not to mention all the traffic that was in the parking lot of the condo from The bar next door. Will definitely visit colonial Beach Virginia again but not at this location. If I was 20 years old I might have enjoyed it. Unfortunately I didn't.

Perfect location and perfect property! The condo was great for our anniversary! The furnishings and amenities were top notch! We would go back again 100%. Recommend renting a golf cart. All of the places to eat are locally owned supporting small business in this community is a great feeling! The owner was so great to communicate with, so very helpful!

Great condo, great location!

We had the pleasure of staying here for a mini getaway. Just a couple of nights. Everything about it was perfect! The condo was spacious, clean, and the decor was lovely. The view of the river and pier was amazing and the patio was actually large enough to enjoy it (see photos). Most notably for me though was that the bed and pillows were so darn comfy! Best nights sleep in a while. The condo is located right next to (and on top of) a couple of restaurants, with others being within walking distance, or a super short drive. Two breweries just down the road was a bonus! Super easy check in, your own parking space, and the hosts were very nice and quick to respond to my inquiries. The whole stay was too notch and I’d definitely recommend this accommodation.

Great Location

My wife and I had a great stay at Sail Away To. It was nice having a reserved parking spot along with a second floor condo with great views of the Potomac River. Several restaurants were within walking distance and the beach is just a walk across the sidewalk. The condo was clean with everything that you would need for a weekend or longer stay. Can’t wait to to visit again.

Perfect VRBO and location

We stayed two nights June 11-13 and it is an excellent VRBO, clean, great location, great views, good parking space, with washer and dryer. The hosts are super, welcoming, and responsive. Highly recommended.

Excellent Stay!

My husband and I stayed for two nights to celebrate our anniversary. We were hoping to find a nice place to stay, some good food and some live music. We hit the jackpot! Adam was a great host and communicated everything clearly and responded quickly. The condo was so beautiful and comfortable. Very clean and still smelled new. The location was outstanding! you couldn't get any closer to the boardwalk and beach. It had great views and beautiful sunrises. We did not have to go far for good food. There were Restaurants below us and beside us (the condo was an end unit). One night we went to a place to eat on the bay side and just walked there. Everything we really needed was within walking distance and if we needed to go farther, the drive was not far. We really lucked out with the music as well. Right off the balcony is the stage for live music at the restaurant next door. We loved just hanging out on the balcony enjoying it. I will say though that I don't think everyone would enjoy that benefit. It was loud even if you were inside but they only have the live music on Friday and Saturday and by 11pm, it was totally quiet so it did not disturb us going to bed. The only issue we had was that someone parked in our reserved parking spot on Saturday afternoon and was still there on Sunday when we left. We were able to find an empty non reserved spot so it worked out ok. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

Birthday getaway

My daughter and I stayed here to celebrate her 18th birthday. It is rare that we get a chance to do something, just the two of us. This was a perfect place to stay. The property was beautiful and so clean!

Stairway Views

Lovely property, the location is a plus. The 3 flights of stairs held back the 5 star rating. The views are amazing! This was our first visit to CB, overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great location and view!

New condo. It’s not beat up from renters yet so enjoy it while it’s impeccable! The best location on the waterfront in Colonial Beach. Walk to bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Fish off the pier in the back or enjoy the view from the balcony. Highly recommend this place!

If i could rate this stay, location with amenities higher than a 5, it would be a 10+. I absolutely loved the stay and do not want leave. I will definitely return!
