"Lovely place to stop in a small village. Staff very friendly and helpful. Mostly locals patronise the hotel and happy to chat with tourists. Food is great "

"We went for our honeymoon as it was where I proposed, the staff were lovely, food was amazing as always.
Thankfully it was sunny all but one of the days but when it rained there was cosy areas to sit inside."
"A great stay , food was outstanding , all home cooked . Staff , really nice . Only fault was the bathroom too small , cannot be helped with the shape of the building . Would stay again ."
"We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage, being very old, is just what we wanted, yet there were still all the mod cons to make life easy. The staircase was very interesting, to say the least and a wonderful feature. The log burner was great and gave off a lot of heat, which was especially enjoyable when we had one cold and very wet evening in October."
