Underwhelming. This is a very ordinary hotel, despite the hot tubs, pool and spa. The decor is vile, all dull browns with turquoise. In the “Troutbeck” room there is a nasty trip hazard into the bathroom. A stubbed toe was annoying but a cracked skull would have been more so. Tip: if it’s not fixed ...

The staff were great and enough of them, very helpful and polite and when we required the maintenance staff they came promptly. As is with a holiday site small but non serious repairs and maintenance sometimes required. Would be a thought to have â€œpunch listâ€ to leave for next guest arrival.
