Rooms are on top of the restaurant so it can get smoky and the food smell is everywhere since the kitchen is by the stairs when going to the upper floors, room floors are not well maintained, no AC but there is a fan provided, the location is convenient to town centre, castle, pubs and shops

The room was tiny, perhaps the smallest I have ever stayed in (of > 200 rooms). No parking was included and paid parking was difficult to find. The room was a small private bedroom with a double bed, and wardrobe/armoire. The room was cared for. The shower stall worked well, but the bathroom had little elbow room. The hotel is an offshoot of a restaurant, thru which one goes to get to the stairs leading up 3 flights of stairs. Once I received the internet name and code (12 hours after check-in), internet connection worked well. Cochem for us was an inferior experience to what it was in 1984 and 2007. Our room was half the size of what we had before, breakfast was no longer included, parking was much tougher, and the human chessboard disappeared, and room prices were much higher - relative to other cities and towns in southern Germany - than they were in 1984 and 2007.

Property needs improvement in cleaning section as there was lots of webs in balcony, i saw spider was roaming in room. Plus they should provide basic things like IRON for clothes. Location is superb and in center and quiet too being in center.

The hotel was right on the water. We didn’t have a room with a view. We stayed in a triple which was really tight. Hotel management was nice and friendly. We had to park down the promenade but it was just a short walk.

Not a good stay - initial room had not been serviced, had to carry luggage up 3 flights of stairs through a kitchen, nowhere to store luggage nor any help/suggestions to where I might be able to, bathroom very tiny, pillows small, birds nesting outside the window, etc.

Not bad middle of the road hotel good price.

The young man on Monday morning was friendly and helpful. Bathroom is definitely not up to date. Bed was comfortable but if you are 6 feet or taller you will have a problem. My husband slept sideways and he is barely 6 feet! Great location and the balcony was great.

Service was terrible, the room smelled terrible and not kept. Tried to cancel my stay and wasn't able to due to them not being able to credit my credit card electronically.

Do not stay here

Only can check in between 3 and 8. No one at check in until 3:30. Elevator is turned off until late morning so if you are on an upper floor plan on carrying your luggage down a steep circular staircase. Noise from hallway and adjoining room can be heard in your room. No soap provided.

The parking is terrible there was no ability to check out easy and access your bags. Had to pack our bags up and down all stairs. The elevator was not working!! There were workers on the property who didn’t even care to help by letting us out front door when we brought car around. They even had keys! Had to haul luggage out back down back alley to and of block then drag back in front of building where we parked the car. There was no public parking. We had to park a mile away. Very inconvenient. Would not recommend this place.

Interieur is antiek, maar dat vind ik juist leuk. Bed kraakte wel behoorlijk. Hotel direct aan het water en er achter allemaal winkeltjes. Auto parkeren moest 400m verderop. Motor parkeren blijkt wel te kunnen. Begane grond is een heerlijk pizeria. Geen airco. Simpel, oud maar zeeer leuk.

we hadden kamer met balkon geboekt kregen een kippehok aan de achterkant met venster uitzicht op muren, kamer maar max 5 vierkante meter douche en wc max 1,5 vierkante meter bed en meubels heel oud en vies kamer helemaal niet schoon en onder bed veel stof en rotzooi, badkamer niet proper vies en oud . we zijn snel wegelopen en bedankt voor de kamer personeel kon niets voor ons doen deden net of ze van niets wisten of konden doen dus weg ons geld voor zoon kippehok schandalig. niet aan te bevelen dit hotel moet eigelijk gesloten worden.

Einchecken ist erst ab 15 uhr möglich und auch dann kann man erst die Koffer ins Hotel bringen. Parken vor dem Hotel nur kurz zum ausladen möglich. Günstiger Parkplatz etwa 10 Minuten entfernt. Das Hotelzimmer, welches über eine steile Treppe zu erreichen ist, war funktional mit alten Möbeln eingerichtet. Es hatte charm. Schön ist der Ausblick vom Balkon auf die Mosel. Das Gepäck kann mit dem "Lastenfahrstuhl" auf die Etage geschickt werden. Bei Abreise steht man dann aber im geschlossenen Restaurant, welches sich im Erdgeschoss befindet, und nur mit Hilfe der Putzfrau gelangt man ins freie. Alternativ schleppt man das Gepäck die steile Treppe hinunter. Leider gibt es keine Möglichkeit Getränje (Kaffee,Tee, Wasser) zu erhalten, wobei sich in direkter Umgebung des Hotels Restaurants und Cafes befindet. Es wäre nur schön gewesen, im Hotel auch die Möglichkeit zu haben. Einen Ansprechpartner vor Ort gibt es nicht. Wir hatten zwei Doppelzimmer gebucht. Auf dem Balkon befand sich von einem Zimmer leider nur ein Balkonstuhl. Im Bad fehlte eine Fußmatte oder ein Handtuch vor der Dusche. Wäre abgenehmer. Die Dusche ist nichts für Bewegungseingeschränkte. Hoher Einstieg in die kleine Sitzbadewanne. Die Zimmer wurden täglich , sehr gut gereinigt. Top

Utsikten från balkongen var underbar. Trapporna upp till andra våningen var otroligt tunga att gå i även för en ganska vältränad person. Ingen hiss finns. Kuddarna var nästan obefintliga. Platsen är vacker och trevliga restauranger.

Es ist ein schon älteres Hotel mit Charme. Leider war der Aufzug kaputt und ich hatte mein Zimmer im 3 Stock. Und mein Zimmer wurde auch einmal nicht gereinigt. Aber der Blick vom Balkon war einmalig schön.
