Location and proximity to the OSHA trail was very enjoyable. Amenities were good - the kitchen is particularly well equipped to handle big family meals and it was great that they’re dog friendly. We had a couple minor plumbing problems and the owner was quick to reply and get it resolved. Minor gripe is the “just enough to get you started” for paper towels, tp, trash bags that so many properties seem to be doing now. Seems a little cheap for a property at this price point. Whole family of 11 (6 adults and 5 children) met up here for 4 nights. What a great place to meet with the family! The three floors allowed everyone to spread out. The kitchen was better stocked than anywhere I've stayed before. Right up against the forest and just a beautiful house. Quality appliances and ample printed information (interaction via Vrbo chat was slow, but local contact was quick to respond). Foosball table was a nice surprise. The only word of warning would be that the notes about recommending 4WD due to the steep incline I assumed was for the driveway.. It's actually to even start to ascend into the neighborhood. If your vehicle couldn't do a 16% grade for 50-80m on a gravel road, you may not make it to the house! It was rainy and we did just fine in a FWD minivan, one of our Focus STs had some issues in dry weather, but made it up.
