Buckhead Lodge - Tri-Level Cabin with Mountain Views

  • This warm and cozy wood cabin is located on a private paved road with 3 acres of land and 1-1/2 more acres across the road. The mountain views can be enjoyed from either of the two decks or from the brand new hot tub located on the covered patio.

    Buckhead Lodge provides a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, waffle iron, microwave, toaster, blender and coffee maker. Just bring the groceries!

    This luxury cabin also boasts of a beautiful gas log fireplace, a Smart TV, hot tub and a pool table. Take a trip back in time with the Packman arcade game in the billiard room. It contains 5 other favorite games!

    The bedrooms are located on the top level. The master bedroom features a king bed and the guest bedroom a queen. The full bath is shared by both bedrooms. For additional guests, the sofa in the downstairs game room pulls out to a queen size bed.

    Outside you will find a a brand new hot tub, gas grill, rocking chairs, fire-pit, and swings. All from which you can behold incredible views of the North Georgia Mountains. If you choose to venture out from your cabin, the quaint Bavarian-style town of Helen is just 10 minutes away.

    • Minimum Age Requirement: Buckhead Lodge is available to families or to guests 21 years and older.
    • Parking: Space is available for 3 vehicles.
    • Access: The roads and the driveway are paved.
    • Security: There is an outside security camera that covers the parking area of the cabin.
    • Pets: Buckhead Lodge is Not pet-friendly. No pets allowed.
    • Location: 10.5 miles to downtown Helen.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the Buckhead Lodge for two weeks and absolutely loved the property. It's very quiet, easy to get to with easy driving, and the views are beautiful. We saw tons of wildlife. The shower and water pressure were great, and while the kitchen is on the small side, it was easy to find everything we needed.Our only complaint was an ant infestation outside — fire ants, specifically — that made the fire pit basically unusable. That was the one sad part of the trip, since the fire pit was a big reason we booked this property. The good news is it's totally treatable, and they started treatment while we were there. GMR was super responsive throughout, which we really appreciated.Even with that one issue, we'd happily come back. A beautiful, peaceful spot.

There was plenty of space and the three levels of balconies had beautiful views. We saw deer several times too. I appreciated the easy drive to and from the cabin with no steep drop offs. It’s close to Helen too. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect spot in the mountains!

This location was so perfect for a little get away. They provided everything we needed and felt like we were at home! The master bed is very comfortable and the views are perfect!

The views are amazing from the bedroom all the down to the game room loved it, this a great place to relax enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature and sit in the hottub and enjoy life while sipping on some wine.

Cabin in the woods

Rented the cabin for 5 days with two friends. This rental had everything we needed plus more. Beds were comfortable, decor was homey and inviting, the scenery was breathtaking! I can’t wait to return someday!

Perfect weekend getaway

The cabin was exactly what we wanted with the gorgeous views, deer everywhere, hot tub, pool table … it was perfect! Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. We will definitely be back

Love the cabin, Location is great. New mattress in master and a satellite box in 2nd bedroom would be the only thing I would change, other then that it’s perfect.
