What a beautiful winter retreat! The home was lovely, clean, and prepared for our arrival, and the host maintained regular contact with recommendations in preparation for some wintry weather while we were there. We felt genuinely cared for as guests. The area is nice for a remote getaway, with some options for hikes and exploring nature if weather allows, and if not, you have a beautiful home and property for some quiet R&R. The hot tub and reading by the fireplace were family highlights, and we kept finding ourselves planning a visit in the summertime!

The house is beautiful, the hot tub is lovely, and the fireplace was well stocked with wood and even set up with kindling for an easy fire! The only downside was that the thermostat was locked at 65 degrees which is a little cold. We went through a lot of firewood to stay warm during the day. The master bedroom has a nice little faux fireplace space heater and was very comfortable. But the other bedrooms were a bit chilly. Overall I'd go back, but I'd ask the host if they could turn the heat up to at least 68.

Holiday weekend family getaway

Beautiful house! My family and I enjoyed our stay! House was fully stocked with everything you would need! The entire holiday weekend was cold and rainy but we still enjoyed ourselves! We used the hot tub a lot and the heated pool on the first day! The pool was cold on the other 3 days :( But overall we had a great time!

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

We had a great stay here, the house and property are even nicer in person than in the photos! We were two couples, one toddler, and 2 dogs and the house had everything we needed -comfy beds, well set kitchen, cozy living room, basement with kid toys, pool/hottub, huge backyard. Would definitely recommend to others!

Great Winter Escape

My family and I had a wonderful winter break at this lovely and spacious home. It was centrally located to exploring various towns in the area, and the owner was extremely helpful and responsive to questions. This place is perfect for a family or just adults, very spacious yet cozy. The back yard is set up great for hanging out by the fire or out in the pool. The outside kitchenette is perfect for relaxing and cooking outside! The kids loved everything there was to offer!

Great location

This property was in a perfect quiet location just far enough from the local amenities and Lake George. It was very open and spacious had a large yard, nice fire pit, pool heated to 83 degrees with a perfect patio for relaxing. When we’re in the Lake George area we’ll definitely attempt to stay here again.
