Bayside Cottage

Enjoy the tranquility of Clear Lake's Bayside area. This retreat offers 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, attached 2-car garage, open floor plan, & private rear yard. This makes an outstanding getaway with room for the whole family, plus extra parking for boats & lake toys.

Avoid crowds by walking to Bayside beach and relax in the sun with the whole family. Within 2 1/2 blocks you will find a boat launch, picnic area, beach, and dock. PM Park, with restaurant, Tiki Bar, beach, and park is just a little farther down the street. The Sweet Spot ice cream is across South Shore Drive.

A boat launch is 2 1/2 blocks at the Bayside beach. State Park is 1.3 miles. It is just off South Shore Drive and has a large park area and beach. City Beach and boat launch is downtown Clear Lake by City Park (2.2 miles). McIntosh State Park is 4.5 miles in Ventura.

Too short of a getaway

Weekend getaway
We had a lovely time at this home! It was close to the lake and just up the street from the Tiki bar 🙌 There was plenty of room for us four adults, a lot of sitting areas inside and out. The updates in the house are nice and it was stocked with all necessary kitchen and bath items! The beds were not great for us. I know that’s a personal preference. I would return if beds were better.

Very pleasant. Only complaint, for two adult couples, is that one of the queen mattreses is awful and needs to be replaced. After experiencing first night, a 6'4" guest chose to sleep in the tiny third bedroom single bed, instead. Only item that keeps me from giving the stay five stars.

Clear Lake review
This is a well maintained clean property. Feels newly remodeled. Well equipped large kitchen with 2 outdoor entertainment areas. Walking distance to the marina and PM Park. A 3 mile drive to downtown Clear Lake. Clear Lake is a wonderful resort town. Plenty of dining, sightseeing and recreation options. Highly recommend this property, and Clear Lake for a destination.

Lovely house. Clean and well stocked kitchen. Very comfortable beds. It was perfect for our girls weekend. Looking forward to staying here again. Host was very responsive when we locked ourselves out of the house.

Bayside Cottage is a Beautiful home!
We enjoyed our stay at Bayside Cottage where we were able to have a relaxing visit and spend quality time with family. The pictures actual don’t do the home justice as it’s is even better in person! This home had everything we needed for our stay. The grill was great as we grilled hamburgers and steaks. The cottage is decorated well and very clean. It was safe for an 18 month old and for the 80 plus yr old great grandparents to come visit. It is within walking distance to the lake and ice cream shop. Very convenient to convenient and grocery stores. The hosts even left us a welcome basket and toiletries if they were needed. We hope to visit and stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home!
